I also stumbled upon that silk worm cocoon store when I was wandering the streets of Arashiyama to get to Gio-ji! Would highly recommend that store for the owner's kindness to visitors, as well as all the pieces are just so fascinating and lovely (bought a piece for myself). I also loved Gio-ji because I too like just looking at moss! It's incredibly green in the late spring (when I went), and my phone almost had trouble taking photos because it just couldnt comprehend all the bright green! I would love to go back and see how it all looks in the fall with the trees changing color.

Gorgeous photography, atmosphere and attention to detail. Just beautiful. I love your choice of clothing to compliment the environment. These places deserve every bit of attention they receive. The handmade artwork and food, the people, jeweled drops on the flame of fall leaves, glow in the light of temple lanterns.

thank you so much I really appreciate your thoughtful comment! I totally agree Japan is so beautiful and the smaller places deserve more attention, they have such a great atmosphere ❤️

I saw your previous video in Fushimi Inari and I'm glad I stumble with this in Arashiyama, I plan to visit in late November for the autumn season and I have Otagi Nenbutsu-ji in my list to see in Arashiyama and I liked the glimpse you gave of the place.

Loved the video editing and all of the gorgeous scenic shots! I don't usually watch vlogs but I was curious because I'm looking to visit Japan next year (probably in the autumn). Do you have any restaurant recommendations?
