Nice video. Highlights - removed negative terminal from battery, told not to take the bolt entirely out and just loosen it, rotated the fitting, mentioned wrench sizes throughout, showed aux wiring.

Great video! My mistake was ignoring the tiny ground wire. Make sure to include it in the ring terminal for the large ground wire or your switch won't work.

A ratcheting combination wrench makes the carriage bolts a LOT easier to install!

If you have King Coilovers there is an added difficulty to this but it’s still doable with some bending. Also make sure you have a deep socket and I needed a 14mm not a 15mm. Make sure you have some ring terminals and also some zip ties. An electric ratchet makes things real easy.

To avoid corrosion connect the hot to the clinoid instead of directly to the battery.

The cable that goes from the pump to my battery also has a small black wire that I didn't see in your video. I have no clue what to do with it and my Compressor won't turn on.

Why would you want to have the power switch inside the cab instead of mounted on the compressor as the kit is made? Seems like a pain to get back in the cab if you've forgotten to flip the overhead switch on -- like I will every time :-)

Are there any serious ramifications to running a compressor in such a hot and cramped engine bay? I've been mulling over purchasing one of these for my Bronco but the thoughts of pumping hot air into my tires are a little concerning.

No ramifications at all. These are used all the time. The area where the compressor is doesn’t get much hotter than the ambient temperature when you have the hood up. Even if it did cause the air to get hotter going into the tires that still wouldn’t be an issue.
