I have the AR version of this and love the thing but it does feel a bit over kill to wear just for a normal commute. Looking to pick this up now just for traveling and walk around town and save the other for hiking and such.

I have both the Beta AR and Beta LT. I personally think you would love the fit and ability to layer with the AR. Thanks for the great video

Beta AR is bulky and feels like it is very durable. It's a bit like wearing a tank. You feel invisible for any rain or snow. Also, there is more room for layers. However, for everyday use, it is overkill IMHO. I use it mostly for skiing. I put the LT on much more. I think it's more comfortable and can still put light and medium weight layers underneath. Just my opinion, hope it helps.

Love my torrentshell. For the price it’s hard to beat. Love my AR though too, better all around, torrentshell I wear for warmer wet days.😊
