Hugely informative. I’m a 143lbs and about two inches taller. I think the S would be ideal. It’s a great video especially if you’re buying online and can’t try before you buy.

Trying to decide between the two right now and same dimensions as you. I also found that the Atom hoody fits a little better than the Atom LT because the Atom has more insulation. Having said that, I still prefer the look of the Proton LT.

Thank you man i was looking for days between S and XS 😂 , im 5.5 ft for 130lbs what do you think about the arms movement is it easy ? Im looking for the atom AR

I’m glad this helped! I would go with the XS for sure. The arm movement on both jackets is great for me, not restricted at all. I had an Atom AR, but I ended up returning it because it was too hot and too big for me in an XS.

At 5'5" 140lbs, 28 waist, 37"-ish chest, 2020 Atom LT in small is the right fit for nearly full upper body ROM, but is a little frumpy looking around the midsection and is a couple inches longer than I'd like for style. Functionally, the length would help if I was wearing a climbing harness and wanted the jacket to stay tucked. YMMV based on your usage. I have not tried the XS since the size is not easy to find. 🥲 But I imagine it'd look better on me, at the sacrifice of a few degrees of shoulder ROM.

This is dope, and I wish I got to see this video before I purchased both myself since I could not find a direct comparison video for fitment. For future reference, I think a side profile look would be awesome as well.

Thank you so much for uploading this video. I'm 5'9" at 145lbs or about 175cm at 66Kg and size S usually fits me perfectly. It's been over a year now, can you please give me some information like: How does this jacket perform in light rain? Do you think it can be used in the winter at freezing temperatures with a fleece jacket underneath? I really want to buy a jacket as an all-round jacket in both spring-autumn as well as winter with fleece underneath

I can comfortably wear the 2020 Atom LT statically (I.e. not moving) at 40s with just a T-shirt as base layer. The DWR should be fine for light drizzles. If it wets out, it dries quick after you've removed yourself from rain, as synthetic insulation does.

Wanted to give an update I ordered the Atom LT in S and XS. The Atom LT is way more relaxed than I thought. I kept the XS and can still fit a Hoodie underneath. For layering the Beta LT hardshell size S fits perfectly over the Atom LT XS

You’re obese if you need any size larger than small at the height of 5’8. I’m 5’8 158lbs, small is best. I agree with him, I try to find the slimmer/trimmer option
