This brings back so many memories of childhood holidays in the 80/90’s in the arcades at Blackpool, Rhyl etc. It was arcades like this where my love of gaming was born. Would love to spend the day here 👍

I've been to the Bury one and that is the original one. This is down the road from where I live in York. Happy days. Relive my childhood again. I grew up in Blackpool in the 80's. So I can literally relive my childhood.

Wow I went there a couple of months ago and boy it has changed. And yes it was brilliant before. The cafe was just a handful of tables near the entrance. I heard they had brought the shop next door. When I handed my coat in, I saw this huge open space not doing anything. That is now the cafe. Glad it is being used. I did recognise where certain games used to be lol like BattleZone and New Zealand Story.

I was at the Bury Arcade Club last weekend and it was amazing. If you love arcades then it's a great place to spend a day. Loved it! Highly recommended. 👍👍😊😊

Out Of This World in Hastings did the same thing back in the 1980's. Pay once and you could play the games all day.

The arcade scene needs a 2024 rejuvenation. I miss seeing video game cabinets at a lot of amusement establishments. I hate those ticket based machines.

I go there a lot whenever I can. Man it does look different with the new extension, is there a new entrance I have to use instead of the usual one? Just that where the til is seems to be occupied by the basketball machines.

Leeds is great but the one in Bury is even bigger. Highly recommended. Far better than Leeds.

Not sure if they’ve finished the extension into next door yet (the old carphone warehouse), I know they had some challenges around licensing spanning the 2 units last time went.

It's bigger but it's absolutely hammered loads of kids just running around messing about but it does have literally everything. I've been going for years and seen how it's changed and grew. I mainly go for the pinball machines as they have loads there.

However Leeds is bigger than Blackpool and unfortunately, I don't think there is any expansion space for them.

Nice review... I have only been to the bigger one in Bury. This has a few cabs like Manx TT, Sega Rally 3, Scud Racer Deluxe Afterburner and Climax, which Bury doesn't have, which is cool. If you get a chance, the one in Bury has even more (4 floors) and is worth visiting.

No they don't. It's mostly an arcade venue with few PCs and consoles, but no handhelds at the time of writing.

bury is the mothership, leeds is great, and blackpool one is good as it brings back tjose by the sea arcade vibes from the 80s
