Incredible headlining set by Arcade Fire at Reading Festival 2010. Setlist:
0:20 Ready to Start
5:11 Keep the Car Running
8:44 Neighborhood #2 (Laika)
13:08 No Cars Go
19:10 Haiti
25:24 Modern Man
30:40 Rococo
35:19 The Suburbs
40:33 The Suburbs (continued)
41:33 Intervention
46:40 Crown of Love
51:41 Neighborhood #1 (Tunnels)
57:34 Sprawl II (Mountains Beyond Mountains)

1:08:35 Neighborhood #3 (Power Out)
1:14:50 Rebellion (Lies)
1:20:27 Month of May
1:24:45 Wake Up
Notes: This is not really HD, but I wanted it to be available in the highest possible sound quality, this band deserves it. So I upscaled it from dvd quality to 1280x720.
Unfortunatelly Régine's mic was too low in the mix during Sprawl II.
Where/when: Reading Festival, Reading, Berkshire, UK. 2010-08-28.

DylFTWynne it's unbelievable isn't it. Although I must say my FAVOURITE piece of music ever has to be the 30 seconds or so in A Day in The Life by the Beatles where they sing "ahhh, ahhhh, ahhh" (you know what I'm on about if you've heard it) that is truly hauntingly beautiful

This band is so unique and amazing, it's hard to put into words. I was at of their shows during their Reflektor arena tour and was truly moved. I went in as a casual fan, but left as a fanatic (I immediatly purchased all of their albulms.) Then I come to learn that they purposley keep their ticket prices low and give a nice percentage of the proceeds to charity (specifically to causes involving Regine's ancestral country of Haiti.) Not only are they are great band, they are great humans.

This performance of Power Out is UNREAL. Bassist is straight up shredding with that dark tone, Win is belting the lyrics like it's his last show ever, Will is wildly hitting those bells, and that monster of a beat drives the tune. And then they just jam the fuck out at the end. It's my favorite Arcade Fire song but this live performance proves that further.

There will always be great musicians. Strange truth about art (and magic moments in life): the magnificence isn't recognized at the time. Later, we ask ourselves how did I not stop and bury myself in the beauty of that moment? In the late sixties, a band called "Love" made a masterpiece album called "Forever Changes". It didn't sweep through the nation, and only the connoisseurs of great music know about it now.

Pretty sure they will go back to their normal phase for their next album. But then the album after that will be some crazy haitian black metal or something LOL I was able to see them on their Suburbs tour at Bonnaroo and in Miami last year for their Reflektor small club tour, and i can't really pick which one would be best. Both were life re-affirming experiences.

Been a musician all my life in Toronto and have seen a lot of Canadian talent for many years. I caught this band on Austin City Limits on TV last night. Although they still need some polishing for the live act, I didn't change the channel, I liked their energy, their talent, their variety of instruments, their positive attitude during the interview after the show. I was instantly a fan and will be following them as they progress over the upcoming years.

The way they perform Tunnels is mind-blowing, it's so consistent until it gets to the ending and then they all just crazy, I love it.

Are they coming out with a new album next year? They seem to release an album every three years, seems to be the pattern. So I was hoping they would. Tickets were a bit expensive back in 2010 but I'll gladly pay every cent again. That was the best show I've ever been too.

Good stuff. I'm not a fan of the way their albums are mixed, but it's tough to turn away from so much visible devotion on stage. Reminded of Dexy's, Talking Heads' big band, and The Clash of Sandinista period.

+David Andrews Agreed. I love Arcade Fire, and there are days when Funeral is my favorite album of all time, but that messy mixing is really distracting.

They way Win's vocals bark from way back in the mix is really gorgeous to me. I totally understand why some people wouldn't like it but its always added for me

Who can't like it??? All the work, energy that turned into a phenomenal spectacle to give pleasure to the spectators in a festival. I've seen much better-known bands at festivals make known their new album, not even singing a single more popular one of them.

Was lucky enough to be there. Out of all of the headline performances I saw at Reading when I went between 2008 and 2014, this was the greatest. Being front-middle for that transition from 'Power Out' into 'Rebellion' was something that will stay with me. A set and a Saturday night I'll never forget!
