Every other mortal human/Aspect host is a joke to Aurelion he laughs in their face with how small their thinking is and the insignificance of their purpose, but when he sees Jhin he wonders what his twisted mind would be capable of if only Jhin had been given cosmic powers and wasn't simply human. The legendary skin Dark Cosmic Jhin made years after both ASol and Jhin released to me is the realization of this single voiceline. Which makes the Dark Cosmic Jhin pop-back at 33:09 so good

When Targon isn't creating problems, they're out here trying (and failing) to fix their own. Every event that contributed to the destruction of Shurima is a direct consequence of Targon's interference. It really says something when the only Celestials worthy of genuine praise are either hopelessly misguided (Soraka) or so done with Humanity's bulls**t that they will steal their magic regardless of how benevolent they are with it (Bard).

Fun fact: A. Sol's "Storm dragon" skin was a scrapped champion/concept named Ao Shin(sounds very Ionian to me) many were disappointed Rito is an A. Sol(pun intended) sometimes but they did say they had issues during its development. Imo both designs are great. its my favorite skin of A. Sol even though he looks goofy compare to his splashart in WR. but lorewise a storm dragon is no match to a space dragon.🤷🏽‍♂

Swain is my favorite champion and has some of the best voice lines in the game (voiced by Randyll Tarly's actor from GoT), but I suggest you wait, he is VERY knowledgeable and gives so many clues and tells secrets about the other champions and the regions of Runeterra that will go over your head until you know more about the Universe as a whole. He's also tied directly to Irelia doing them together in succession would be a good idea.

27:15 In the VERY OLD, VERY UNCANON lore of LoL, Malphite, Renekton, Nasus and Taric used to be literal Aliens from different planets. In modern lore, we don't have any champs from different planets, but many from different realms/dimensions like the Celestial realm (Bard, Soraka ASol etc.), Bandle City (all Yordles), the Void (all Voidborn), the Death Realm (Mordekaiser), the Shadow Realm (Nocturne, Zeds powers(?)) and the Spirit Realm (which Shen can freely enter)

Here is the catch. Aspects used Aurelion to stop the void that were trying to get into the runeterra. If they didnt do that the runeterra would be long gone now. I am not saying that they are good but they have their reasons. Creating Ascended was also part of plan of stopping the void, just like creation of Runeterre itself (you can think about this planet as training groung preparing human kind to fight the void) but its all out of controll of the gods and aspects are bound by their identity and they have to serve to their theme (just like pantheon cannot escape fighting becouse he is aspect of war) becouse it have impact on their mind. Also the darkins were created by void from the ascended that aspects didnt want, and if they werent trapped by Zoe they would couse the apocalypse. All of this is coused by the Watchers, they forced gods and aspect to take action. Aurelion talking about other worlds can talk about world of for example KDA universe or Star Guardian. Its like pararell universes, this is not the same one but like a sibling. He can know about them but there is no proff, becouse they dont exist in the universe he lives in. There are hints from Riot about there worlds connecting. There are major diffrences like in world of star guardian Fiddlesticks (yes he have star guardian skin now called "Star Guardian Nemesis Fiddlesticks") had normal life, wasnt a monster and we know his/her name was Harp. Now he is formless creature hunting other star guardians. In original universe he always been a monster. (Star guardian universe is one of the most complex if you want to dive in but its mostly in text, rather than animation) When Aurelion hits enemy with his stars in the game he says "BOOOP" you heared XD at 31:54 And yes... all characters make fun of him in the game XD It would be good do dive into aspects before champions related to them becouse they will be everywhere. They are very influencial. If you will try to play the game at some point ask some friend who knows some of it becouse tutorial says nothing and you be long and not enjoying it at all.

There are no Alien perse in Runeterra. Everything on Runeterra are either its inhabitents in any form ( Mages, Humans, Assendent etc.) or selestial beigns or the VOid, non of them came from another planets. Also u need to watch Zoe interactions with Aurilion Sol. I believe Zoe is almost the only Being Aurlion Sol endures and somehow has bond to. In general u need to listen to Zoes interactions with champs. She is a very cheering up charakter, because despite her being so powerful, she really has that childish energie, that is perfectly shown in her charakter

I think went crazy because of what they experienced during the war against Icathia. (wich was more a war against the void) The void is known to warp the mind of those who see it, like Malzahar. So this combined with some type of boredom coming from immortality without purpose is probably what created the Darkin (who were god-warriors before that). It's then that the aspect intervened to stop the darkin by traping them in their weapon (and not killing them since they can't be killed, i believe ).

Just theory but seem like this is the direction riot going for too: the dragon we seeing are just his physical form. And his true and real form is in celestial realm, we have no idea what he actually look like or what his real power is. The watcher a entity presume more powerful than aurelion sol cant go to runeterra or physical world because they too strong and too big for the portal, this maybe the same for aurelion sol + unlike targonian aspect who need vessel to come to mortal world, seem like aurelion sol can create a perfect physical body that can wistand his power unlike soraka who mortal body is burning from the inside because her power is too much for it to handle or bard who not even using "living" body and have to use a doll. Aurelion is just freaking fabulous. When I saw his teaser trailer I was expecting him to be some kind of big cosmic villain (the vague Thanos Meets Smaug vibe from that trailer helped) but his story makes him an engaging and somewhat sympathetic character and his voice lines' sass when encountering other champions is suprisingly hilarious and endearing whilst (usually) not reducing the scale of his character at all.

Our Asol is just....you know...being (an) Asol? 😂😂😂 Asol is getting a CGU, everyones really excited bout it. Very few really plays Asol in the game since his kite is bad and dissapointing, but many who actually play him just play him because of how cool his lore and looks are. If there is one thing satisfying about him in the game, it'll be his Q which makes a star that grows wider the further it travels, about 2/3 of the base I assume. It's fun seeing mortals loose hope knowing they cant escape🤔🤔🤔

To a better understanding, i recommend you watch a video by Necrit named "Story of League of Legends Explained". its basically a big summary of the main events that took place in the "main" story of the game. i see that video more as a timeline because you will see the time when happened the rune wars, the darkin war and the void rift in Icathia and other things.

Aurelion is terrifyingly powerful, but he's not an evil force. His reaction is the same reaction we have to most insects. He looks at us like we look at ants. insignificant, completely unable to understand the sheer *magnitude* of what we, or Aurelion, are capable of doing. He's annoyed that we somehow have him by the metaphorical Star Balls, but he has no hate for this world. Just for those that keep him here. I'd be like us standing on what amounts to a Baseball Plate for a whole month. He's sick of being there, he's got better things to do, let him leave already! Funny part is, I'm certain he'd just... Leave Runeterra and never bother to return if someone set him free. He might turn Targon into a glass floor, but the planet would be otherwise left alone. Hell, if a Targonian freed him, he might just say "fair enough, don't bother me again". At the same time, part of his purpose IS to close the rifts betwen The Void, where Cho'Gath, Rek'Sai, Voidlings, Bel'Veth, and so much more are from. But he doesn't care for it. Its like cleaning up a restaurant. You have to go back constantly to clean up the messes left behind by those insufferable creatures. Though, part of me wonders if, seeing as Targon managed to shackle him, he could just teach people how to seal The Void's rifts, and then they'd release him.

So Aurelion Sol’s true form isn’t comprehensible to mortals, since he exists mainly in the celestial realm. You’ve missed out a lot of really cool stuff for Asol. Mainly a fair few interactions, which you can get from the skin spotlights champion quotes video which have all of them. Also the LoR art is somehow even more spectacular than the splash art. And his short story twin dawns (which you saw the summary of) is written from his POV, which is so fascinating, makes for a great read and covers details/conveys stuff the wiki doesn’t.

So when they introduced Aurelion it seemed the story would go into a sci-fi direction. The void and even darkins would be like alien invaders. But riot games dropped this story line over the years. Now the void is from another dimension, the darkin are corrupted ascended and so on. Also pls react to swain, he has so much lore hints in his interactions with other champions. Also if you want a good-ish targonian look for morgana Edit: the quote from swain about Aurelion is to this day a mystery. The lore man himself, Necrit, theoriesed that maybe Aurelion has a void sibling, that's the reason(in the theory) why only Aurelion can close the void rifts.

Aureliom Sol is the one who can only seal the void rifts in Runeterra, that's why they have to to that. Cause Aurelion is so big that he don't really care about Runeterra. If Aurelion Sol escaped from that magic that's binding him to Runeterra that will be the end for Runeterra Aurelion sol might crush the whole Runeterra because of what they did.

i kinda understand how aurelion must feel when talking to lower life forms, like in comparison to his first time in runeterra, imagine that you made a cake and left it there, then once you return you see a bunch of ants are living there and start talking to you, at first you like it, it amuse you, you find it curious, but after 10 years of them constantly being born and dying over and over again and no matter how long you watched, how much their structures changed, their technology or physical form, they always do and say the same things, you no longer wish to go over to that cake to see or listen to them perhaps even think of throwing it away

It's funny how you talked about him reminding you of Jhin at the same time as one of his quotes towards him, when Aurelion Sol says "Imagine what you could do with a larger canvas", that was intentionally meant for Jhin, and was also a bit of foreshadowing for Dark Cosmic Jhin, which is basically Jhin with a larger canvas.

This may be a reach but perhaps the reason that the A Sol theme builds up at the start and suddenly drops off could be a metaphor for Targon gaining control over him and then the music builds up again as he regains his influence.

Aurelion sol is the second most powerful being in all of League of Legends (second only to Kindred who is a literal manifestation of Death itself). He is nigh-immortal, nigh-omniscient and nigh-omnipotent. He forged all the stars and galaxies in the universe around which planets form. You can't get more godly than that. Though his arrogance is sometimes his downfall, like the time he was enslaved by Targonian Aspects.
