Victor is on the edge of the shield, it could be possible he survives but takes is heavily injured by the blast, leading to more hextech adaptation to hang onto life leading to glorious evolution

I Really hope Jin does not die, I have a feeling she will live and the main foe will end up being Warwick, Jinx will end up saving Vi, it is possible Caitlyn wants to "Locate Jinx" not neutralize her. Makes me think they are reluctantly needing her help that or Jinx has Vi and that's why Caitlyn needs to find Jinx. I'm Team JINX,

Yes, it makes sense :) It was sure not all council members died :) They simply didn't want to (clearly) show them in the trailer to surprise us :)

We will avenge your mother doesn't necessarily mean Caitlyn's mom is dead. She could be very badly injured though, perhaps in critical condition. There's also a very small chance they're referring to another character's mother, but I doubt that one. Lore spoilers ahead: the reason I think Caitlyn's mom could be alive is because she's supposed to be kidnapped by someone in the future according to the lore. So killing Caitlyn's mom here would mean retconning that. I suppose they can make minimal changes to that part of the lore by having only her father being kidnapped instead. Still, Caitlyn's mom kind of grew on me in the show so I'd be a bit heartbroken if she died here. But it would make more sense to keep Mel alive instead of Caitlyn's mom or both of them, since Mel is just an infinitely more interesting character, and keeping both of them AND Jayce and Viktor alive would feel like plot armor. Not to mention that Caitlyn dealing with her mother's loss would make her rivalry with Jinx + relationship with Vi gloriously dramatic.

Ah yes, Camille Ferros will like kidnap her parents... Im also anticipating house ferros to actually make an appearance, hopefully when more teasers or the main trailer arrives... Sinxe they were mentioned in season 1, obviously a Chkovs gun trope there
