I liked the plot twist and I was so sad when jinx, viktor, and Jayce died because ekko and Jayce were the mvps of the show. And Jayce fulfilled is promised to an alternate version of viktor that saved his life and in the end both of them started the arcane story to begin with. Jinx is 100% alive and faked her death so she can break the cycle. She left Piltover on the airship we see at the end. Viktor and Jayce might be alive in some way as well and come back in a different setting at some point. Heimerdinger just went poof as well so his fate is also not clear.

Think about it, Jayce was supposed to die as a child along with his mother in the cold, saved by Viktor from the far future, through multiple trial and errors... Viktor was supposed to die from his illness prior to meddling with the hextech core, and if not then, then when the council was blown up by Jinx Mega Death Rocket... But no matter how you twist and turn it, Jayce's and Viktor's deaths seem to be the most predetermined events prior to the paradox anomaly's manifestation 🙂

@@SuperKlode I think that's a very accurate deposition to take, from everything gathered, it makes the most sense.... However, the problem with League lore (more accurately, Riot) has trouble sticking to its own script. There are plenty of other characters and lore that just doesn't make sense when it comes to the Arcane. If you really want even better story telling in the league universe, I would recommend The Ruination. Its about Camavor (Before Noxus) and Veigo, but you start to get a better sense of the World Runes and power scaling overall. Certain Champions such as Aurelion Sol exist, along with Bard and not to mention Targan and their bullshit that has yet to be really touched or polished off. Not to mention the Void and all its crazy ass shenanigans. I Think Jayce and Viktor are more than likely alive, and so is Jinx obviously. I think the Arcane gives you what you want most. Powder, wanted to be helpful but Powder wanted to be like Violet, independent and strong, and she wanted to explore the world. So, She became Jinx, she killed Silco to become independent, and she left to explore the world. It might seem like a crazy take, but think about the rune Viktor gave Jayce, we dont know what that rune does. In the Ruination, we get to meet other mystic characters from the lore (Wont spoil) who say as much, not to mention diaries from a certain vault that explains as much. If that rune was the rune of freedom, then would it not make sense that Jayce, Viktor, Vi, Cait, Sveka, Heimerdinger, Ekko, and Jinx were all given some sort of freedom from their burdens to then let them then make a choice? Move past your burdens and youll be free, or shed all of your burdens and youll be free? Freedom is a choice, not something that is given. I've played a lot of league, and read a lot of league lore. Not to mention from other Universes, like Star Wars, World of Warcraft, Bioshock, GoT, Harry Potter, and Lord of the Rings, the common theme with all of them is some unique force that is living and has consequences. What makes Arcane so much different, is the fact that the power is alive, but it almost seems like it has emotions and can speak back. Kinda like Father and Mother Boxes from the DC universe.

Also there's a quote from Silco about the only best thing to do is walk away and Jinx kind of did that in a way by escaping.

Lol, I'm pretty sure none of these characters died. I go by the rule if you don't see the body, they're probably still alive. The only one for sure is Ambessa. Jinx, you clearly see a streak of purple/pink moving away just before the explosion. Couple that with Cait looking at the vents where she fell and then a shot of the blimp, the thing that Powder said she wanted to ride at the start of the show. She pulled a Loki and removed herself from the people she cared about. Viktor & Jayce, these guys are literally magic now and probably teleported somewhere else the way there were just sucked into Jayce's gem, the gem that Future Viktor gave him then implanted into his arm. Warwick, motherf*cker survived one explosion already and before that his head being split open. Doubt he's dead either. Heimerdinger, again if he died I would have expected a body or dust left in his place. He probably teleported somewhere else after linking the time-machine.

My impression is that Viktor can save the body, but can't save the soul. All of those people are "alive" in the sense they're moving again, but they can't act nor think for themselves. In other words, not human. They're perfect. Singed wants to research this process from afar, looking at how Viktor does it and avoiding the pitfalls of losing a human's soul and consciousness during that process. Thus, Orianna is created from that research.
