Hello when i try to connect on the airbag module with my elm327 connector and the red adapter on my 147 it says no response from ecu do i need a KKL (blue) connector in combination with the red adapter aswell?

15:09 - Since I don't want to break my ABS unit and I want to change the old brake fluid, the garage where I'll go doesn't have the MultiECUScan but they use a pressure device tot change the fluid. I also have a 156 and they've done it straight, since I don't have any options in the MES for 156's ABS. So, if I change the brake fluid, I should to this first for GT and after that put in new brake fluid and use their pressure changing device? By the way, the brakes in my GT are worse than 156. :| They don't bite as hard as the 156 does. Both of them have the same Textar brake pads allarround.

You can change a brake fluid without using a MES or any kind of pressure device. The process is very simple, all you need is a buddy to pump the brake pedal, and you need to start releasing the fluid just as you would do when you do a brake bleed. Always start from the furthest wheel, and work your way up. Also you got to make sure that your brake reservoir is always full during the process, so it doesn't suck in the air. We might actually do the video on it, since I got to do it on my GT as well...

Hi. Any tips on how to get the ELM327 adapter to connect to the ECU? I can only source V1.5 locally. I bought four different adapters but still no luck. It connects to friends cars and my Volvo but it does not connect to my Alfa 156 ECU. Tried choosing different ECU versions from the list but no luck. I even bought the Wifi and Bluetooth versions but struck out. Is there a specific cable that definitely works? I have a 2005 Alfa 156 2.0 TS

@@arcgarage yes you are right. I didn't have any luck connecting to the ecu. I even tried another elm327 with usb but no luck. I don't know If Im going to get that cable since I have the "right side light failure" and a funny thing yesterday I managed to get rid of the left error by cleaning the plastic holder with sandpaper. But the right still can't remove the error. Maybe I should change the whole part. But the light functions its just the error I want to get rid off.

Well my selespeed gearbox is stuck in first gear. It won’t change into any other gear. So that means I can’t start the car because it has to be in neutral. So I just wanted to know will multiecuscan diagnose the problem without it running. I’m just waiting for my elm 327 to arrive in post.

It might. But when I test for gearbox issues, I drive the car and follow the parameters looking for problems...

when you changed the ports before connecting to the airbag, is it just a downloaded port that you load that allows you to open the airbag system? or do you have a bunch of different adapters that unlock certain systems? Curious on how to check faults of all systems. Great video!

not sure if you know about race mode install on giulia 2.0 but you need to reset proxi alignment. I had to plug in the blue cable in first, success, then plugged the grey cable in & everything was failing. I restarted the whole process & everything worked. Now i have race mode but my door locks are messed uo. Sometimes they dont work when you press them, sometimes they do. Also the light on the door lock turns on/off when it wants to. Only had a couple hours in the car today but if you know where i would go or what i have to do to reset it, it would help A LOT! Thanks!!

Is it possible to turn off ”side light warning” without changing the bulb? I don’t want to see it every time I start my car, and I want to wait until main low beam (xenon) needs replacing since it is a bumper off job.

You can't turn off the warning, bulb replacement is the only solution...

@@arcgarage In fact, you CAN turn off the warning, by disconnecting the STATUS pin of the chip controller VNQ810M from the inside circuit of the Body Computer. That way you will never be warned regarding burned out bulbs as the BC will never get a signal for corresponding STATUS pin.

That might be very interesting Also I think I need to change one of my window computer as the window doesn't automatically drop a few cm when I open the door but does go down without a problem using the switch. Would I need to do a proxy alignment if I fit a new one? If so, I will need to get this program for sure

Just a little update for anyone with the same problem; My window wasn't automatically dropping a few cm when opening the door but was otherwise working fine so I changed the window module behind the door card and it's fixed 👍🏼
