Nimrod from the bible is Gilgamesh, that's a story mimicking the story of Noah cause Nimrod/Enmerker (he has a lot of names) Is decsended from Ham, one of Noahs sons, and he hated God for the flood. It's said he started to become a giant. The flood is real in all ancient cultures!

@@MeMehubsssthis is why one of the theories I have is that maybe there is just one God, but humans interpretation of God are so different and why we have different religions. Just look at Judaism, Christianity and Islam, started in the same region of the world but have different interpretations that make them different, one of which is that whether or not the Messiah exists and has come. Hebrews think the Messiah hasn't come, Christians think Jesus is the Messiah, Muslims think Jesus was a prophet and not the Messiah
@yeyvids548223 сағат бұрын
@KevmuyiKaraokage Actually, Muslims believe Jesus as a Prophet as well as the Messiah, but Messiah in Islamic tradition is more akin to the Jewish tradition. They both believe that the Messiah is not the literal manifestation of God. Rather, they both believe the Messiah to be a human figure who is anointed by God, who will come to Earth near the end times to establish peace and justice to the World.

I have a theory on why almost every religion all over the world has a flood myth. It might be because floods tend to happen from time to time... all over the world. Mesopotamia and the Nile are especially known for flooding all the damn time, which, by the way, is exactly where all the most popular flood myths come from. I also have a theory on why almost every religion all over the world feature snakes. It might be because snakes also happen to exist... all over the world. Trust me, I know. I've experienced both floods and snakes in real life, so you can trust me. Here's another crazy theory, could it be that snakes and floods are simply metaphors for certain masculine and feminine traits? Hmm... Nah, that's too crazy. God makes much more sense now that I think about it. Never mind.

Was Gilgamesh possibly Nimrod from the Bible, a nephalim who the Bible says was a mighty hunter of men? Not a mighty hunter of wild game but literally men. Giant folklore usually statess they were man eating giants. Other civilizations spoke of a man that built a boat before the flood swept across the Earth. They didn't call him Noah though. Sane origins, but different names for the same people?
@tinabeasley7821Күн бұрын
I have felt my whole life, literally, that it’s all one and the same story. It’s just been modified by the teller of that time so it could be understood, used for truly good purposes, or twisted and edited for manipulative agendas. We are all on the same level, same wavelength, and in our hearts , have the same beliefs.
@Abominable_IntelligencesКүн бұрын
That could be plausible, though since plagiarism did not exist back then it could be that Nimrod was lower Mesopotamia's version of Gilgamesh

Right Response Ministries teamed up with the Haunted Cosmos and covered a 10 part series on mythology, folklore, and the supernatural. They had an episode on the Nephalim and giants and I had no idea how vast the stories were on giant beings with superhuman strength, even stories from North American native tribes about giant people from the sea. It's amazing how much of mankind's early civilizations are still being realized to this day. Russian folklore about mermaids was interesting and the what Enoch wrote about the wives of the fallen angels

Most ancient civilizations have a flood story. You see it in Asia, Africa, the Americas and the Middle East. Likely there was massive flooding of the earth at the end of the Ice Age and man recorded this period where humanity was nearly wiped out in their mythology. Utnapishtim's story happened long before Gilgamesh, long before Noah's story, and long before Deucalion and Pyrrha.

The story of Ziusudra and the story Akkadian.). To the Greeks , China and India. . But how did the Hawaii, the Aztecs and Australia have similar storys.. I've read the story of Gilgamesh a few times but didn't connect the garden of Eden, the temptation of Enkidu and the snake. Interesting. Didn't Gilgamesh become one of the judges or judge of the dead. The gods reveal him after he died. Most religions and Myths are connected some how. If look deep enough. Even scientists. The Bible is NOT that accurate, it's NOT A HISTORY BOOK. Is there truth in the Bible? Yes, but are there lies in the Bible? Yes, without a doubt... Genesis is the FIRST lie... Note: I don't judge you for what you choose to believe. But to claim the Bible is accurate is incorrect. What's next? You're going to say you "know" Jesus was ressurrected for a FACT? Even all of that is NOTHING but HEARSAY... Not to mention that ALL scientific evidence proves deceased bodies can NOT be brought back to life. You BELIEVE, and that's fine, but that's a very different concept to You KNOW... Your child may believe in Santa, but you know Santa isn't real. THAT IS THE DIFFERENCE, ONE IS HEARSAY, THE OTHER IS OBJECTIVELY PROVEN.

So, the written record in the epoch of Gilgamesh is just one of many variations of the actual event. And btw , for the “the whites change everything in history to hide the truth” . Gilgameshes long wavy hair isn’t n invention of Wytes. Nor was he created by the mythical Yakub.

Yes the Bible in large part is just an amalgamation of older stories. Stories that the Hebrews adopted into their culture due to the influence of having been sl@ves to various powers for centuries at a time. They took the Flood from the Babylonian/Assyrians over their centuries long bondage to them. They also took from the Egyptians. The sun disk that hovers over the heads of certain Egyptian deities morphed into halo's. Even the name Amun became Amen after each prayer. In turn, the stories from the New Testament were remixed with Pagan Roman elements during Constantine's reign. The Romans believed in a deity that had once been a man born to a virgin who after his death rose up again after three days and became a God. Oh, and his birthday is December 25. Constantine had these elements added to the new testament in order to appease both the Pagans and Christians in Rome who were at the point of all out Civil War.
