TOO COLD. 60 DEGREES. We live in Chicago and this is a dog that's perfectly happy in 0 degree weather.

I love looking at these AD gibillion dollar homes. The jaw drops, I gasp, and I don’t think I breathe again for the rest of it. Occasionally I throw my arms up into the air and say “Good God!” When you think about it, watching these videos is a little like riding a roller coaster. You may be a little sick in your stomach at the end, but you always want to go again.

I like high ceilings, personally, but if I were designing a large-interior house with the idea of "comfort" in mind, I would design around minimizing sound echo off the walls. I could hear a lot of echo just from the presenter's speech. I think acoustic insulation would go a long way to making this home feel more genuinely cozy.

I'll give him credit for name dropping some of the furniture designers, but in the show kitchen when he comments on the "Jean De Merry dining table" he misspoke. Or perhaps the editors used the wrong audio when cutting to the table. That table is an 84 or 96 inch oval Tulip table by designer Eero Saarinen.
