Very insightful. Appreciate the update on my investments

And...Goldstein dodges a question about the potential of needing to raise more capital. Archer is supposedly going to start operating conventional aircraft to "refine systems and procedures" before they start operating Midnight. What, like helicopters that need fuel, or electric planes that require runways? Sounds like that will be somewhat expensive. Are they going to be able to build sufficient Midnight aircraft, vertiports and charging infrastructure on $405 million? Or are their "partners" going to fund all of this? Joby has over double the cash on hand.

How likely the FAA will allow certification of Archer is the question. If FAA signs off on this company and gives them the green light the stock will surge just like Cathie Wood anticipates

3:40 From everything that was said , this gave me chills because he did not answer this question at all !! So expect a lot of dilution in the future

Ifactually flying into major airports the combination of tornado level jet wakes with a sluggish hovering 'blimp' like object with the wing and especially ta 5:46 il surfaces acting like a weathervane overpowering the feeble differential thrust of the propellers

Air taxis can be the biggest competition to robo taxis if successful.

Goldstein: Great salesman. It seems that the main business here is to get paid as long as the cash lasts. Fake it until no one notices that you don't make it. Like Fisker. They don't have the cash to keep that up too long. No one asked United about what milestones and conditions are in place before they invest any more, or buy any of the vehicles that haven't yet been built and are not safe nor approved to fly anywhers, much less in "New York, Los Angeles, and San Francisco". Let just one more crash on a test flight, like Joby's did, and the whole story falls apart.

No way they can achieve those goals even if they did work now. They don't

Why are these craft sustainable? Are they electric? I’m confused.
@codykfishing34186 күн бұрын
Yes, they are electric.

What about potential fires with those batteries
@helifanodobezanozi76895 күн бұрын
Probably about the same as with aviation fuel.
@andyliang8599Ай бұрын
how is this different from helicopters
@helifanodobezanozi76895 күн бұрын
They have wings, so they use far less energy to fly during forward flight. They are also potentially faster because of this as well. The other advantage is that because they are electric, as battery technology improves, so does the performance of the aircraft. So if battery efficiency doubles in the 18 months following commercial release/ so will the range. Battery packs can be easily replaced/ upgraded.

These two should be ashamed of themselves. The mere use of the phrase air taxi is ridiculous. We have a severe shortage of air traffic controllers and they are talking about adding more air traffic within busy class b airspace as if the system can just handle that with no problem. They need to be more transparent about the regulatory hurdles and the system limitations which will not be solved within the next year!!!’nm

I think they will get their type certification before the 737-10. So I don't think its impossible.
@user-nt8kc7ho6dАй бұрын
It’s not about the type rating. They make it seem as though air taxi will be flying all over the sky like the jetsons within the next year. That just is not realistic.
@RoastieToastie1Ай бұрын
@@user-nt8kc7ho6d Maybe not like the jetsons but it is a more efficient technology that is coming to market. People made fun of me when I got on the drone wagon back in 2012 and it seems like they integrated into the airspace system over time and now they are their own industry. I think these will just replace alot of inefficient helicopters that are already flying around. As the ole' saying goes, time will tell!

You guys have no vision, sad, go and look at China, their Evtol is done, certified and flying is about to commence. People with vision makes things happen, you guys are all talk.

There is some interesting information about Archer's test flight progress, using material we made ourselves at Salinas airport (where Archer's Midnight flies) kzbin.info/www/bejne/nYvFaKKel86MrMU

Wow. What price did all of you buy at? Lots of haters here.
@TheBagOfHoldingАй бұрын
Why do you think everyone that doubts evtol lost money on them? It's easy to see it's not even possible to meet their crazy goals. It's not even possible to fly 2 minutes with the weight of passenger.

There are actually lots of shorts attempting to drive down the price by manipulating investor sentiment in social media.
