Having a long draw is nice. Dont need to try max out a bow. I can shoot 60-65 lbs and be just as fast

My 29.5 lift x 30” draw length with 80# mods pulls 82# with 460 grain arrows hits 314 fps

Gas Bowstrings’s did a tutorial on changing strings and cables in a Mathews Lift. He stated, instead of twisting the cables so that they’re knotting up is to remove the cable off the yoke and put twists in the loop that attaches to yoke by turning the loop into themselves and you’ll find that the poundage will not drop like it does by putting too many twists in the cables. kzbin.info/www/bejne/n5-8f6OtoN2Chtk

Bro that was with the 80lb mods. Poundage was just coming up lower for some reason, so only thing was to twist those cables haha

@ curious if his string was stretched I shoot the crap out of mine it’s on 65 mod and rice this year I had to twist my strings to get it up to 65 lbs it kept going down to around 62 lbs bottom out

@ good info man. I know he had match strings which aren’t supposed to stretch too bad. Just kinda one of those weird things.
