ALL OF US should be doing *what we can* to support up and coming shooters! I've given books; bows; & arrows to Clubs, to help them grow (for zero recognition)... So, Branded T-shirts offer the best Return on Investment?... That's interesting!

How to get sponsored for dummies: Win Championships, shoot a lot of events and look good, get well known or all 3.......you must be worth the sponsorship!

Great, insightful video Steven!!! I have always wondered how general sponsorship works. Your knowledge of the sport is second to none and I'm certain that we all appreciate you sharing your thoughts and professional experiences about all archery with us through your reviews. Thank you steven🏹🏹🏹

Your videos are terrific covering a variety of subjects. It obvious your a heck of a business man and a great ambassador for PSE. Dudley is a real asset for PSE in America as he puts out a host of instructional videos and is more than well respected in US. I did buy a used Hoyt partly because of his reputation, but I didn't like the draw cycle and sold it for what I paid - probably did well because of his reputation. and videos. I feel my PSE bows (2) will sell well when I choose to sell based on his moving over to PSE. Most of us are pretty supid that way!! He may make a difference in future designs for PSE as well - especially the hunting bows.

Archers need to be aware that responsibilities come with wearing a sponsorship shirt. Having respect from peers can be as important as winning tournaments.

I'd say more so. I'd rather a personable, gregarious person who is an OK shooter than a maverick with poor social skills.

I've have heard of John d but I've never heard of Stefan forgot his last name but that's because I'm a bow hunter. In the end it comes down to is there more money in hunting or target archery

2 very lucrative markets & both quite different. As for $, have a look at the prize $ for the Vegas shoot, 18m indoor. A lot depends on what country you live/compete in as well

Service & value go hand in hand. If everyone goes 1 way & 1 other goes the other eventually that is going 2 come 2 a head on collision caused by the guy who only thinks of himself who wants everything 4 free.

John Dudley will sell more bows than all the pro archers put together because he's the linchpin of podcast mafia. The Dudley/Joe Rogan/Jocko collaboration has sold more bows for Hoyt than all of their sponsored archers put together. Dudley has effectively signed them all of tham to PSE by proxy. I've lost count of the number of times in the last five years that a newbie has walked in to my clubs and walked past the flagship mathews, Prime's and PSEs to drool over some beat up 10 year old Hoyt because thats all they hear about on social media.

Brand is important. True. Its about values and authenticity. Personally, I dont like PSE because its founder was hunting elephants in Afrika, even when he knows that they are an endangered spieces. I hate that he did that. There is enough other pray to hunt...
@oxygenworks45204 жыл бұрын
The meat from those elephants are often used to feed entire villages. So it's not all bad usually.

@@kalumeet1 I am curious as to which brand you chose to shoot then because if it is an American brand then they pretty much all support that kind of behaviour. If you truly take issue to that kind of thing then you need to look at European or South Korean brands.
