Archewell situation doesn't lend much ‘confidence’ to the Sussexes’ charity priorities

SkyNews.com.au Digital Reporter Reilly Sullivan explains why the Sussexes’ charity Archewell was temporarily deemed as delinquent.
Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have returned home to California from the unofficial royal tour of Nigeria to face a whole new controversy over their Archewell charitable organisation.
“It turns out it was a pretty minor thing basically, there are registration fees that charities have to lodge in the state of California every year, and one of the cheques got lost in the mail,” Mr Sullivan told Sky News Digital Presenter Gabriella Power.
“Allegedly, it has all been rectified, and Archewell is back up and running.
“It doesn’t lend much confidence to Archewell, there has always been rumors that basically, Meghan and Harry don’t devote as much time to charity as they'd like us to think."

Why not just give money directly to your charity of choice instead of Archewell . Just cut out the middleman.

No one sends a cheque in post anymore. With the money they pay staffers the bank statements and book-keeping should have been reconciled with a new certificate received. The tour was not a success.

The delinquency notice is still archived as a PDF on the website. So the Cali AG did not removed it even though Archewell is now in good standing

As regards the Nigerian visit the only people they were meeting were the rich and entitled - there was no evidence of them meeting with the ordinary people of Nigerian (the ones who can’t afford posh schools with uniforms for the kids).

Neither of the Grifters are 'detail' people - the documents and fees are 12 months late...not 'a few days' and they were warned back in January 2023 to get it done ! However, any charity worth its' salt (or any small company) should always keep an eye on cash flow - not a hard job it's just simple bookkeeping and the person in charge CEO or whatever, should have a diary entry 6 months in advance, with a repeat every month to check on the CFO and make sure those RETURNS GET FILED. Most any charity, values its' reputation and goes out of it's way to avoid any clashes with any form of government.

I’m an American, I can’t stand these two. Especially to hear what the Royal family has lost ha ha. Please they are obviously trying to be everything that she claims to hate. Hard to understand why she continues to act like she had her feet in the royal lodge long enough to even be remembered by them.
