Honestly I'm torn. I was the biggest Barchie shipper until the last few episodes of season 1. Archie can't just push Betty away and then want her back after she's with someone else. She seems much happier with Jughead. They are opposites but they complete each other. What Jughead and Betty have is an innocent romance and I honestly hope they're endgame, meaning if Barchie has to happen then so be it but in the end I'm hoping its Bughead. I just hope Archie finds someone for himself that isn't Veronica or Betty.

I truly think they are gonna go the comic book route. In the comics they made two separate ending with both couples in a way being endgame and so we see Archie and how his life would be with Veronica or Betty. I think episode 13 where Archie said “a little part of me always thought” and then betty cut him off with some BS about how they met their soulmates even though her and archie have been with their respected other for barley a month. Also why he said this was important. I think he said it because he realized that in a way she wasn’t his anymore and not in a controlling way. I think the reason he was with the teacher or the pussycst singer and even Veronica was because he said it himself. He believes he’s not good for Betty and that he’s never going to be good enough. So that tells me that he saw them together having a future and being a couple but because he thought so low himself he never went after her. In 1x02 when Betty and Archie talk after he sang the and then Betty starts leaving. Archie: Betty. Betty, wait. Betty, wait. Come on. Listen to me. Betty: No. No, when... When I think, Archie, of where I feel safest and most myself, I think of us, in a booth, at Pop's... Archie: Me, too. Betty: But that's not true anymore. I thought I could pretend this weekend didn't happen, but..."I can't give you the answer you want." That's what you said to me. This got me thinking when they wanted to close down “pops” and the reasoning she said related to Jughead which make zero sense if she said this. Hell even in 1x01 when she said she sees them being a power couple. I do believe towards the second half of this season they will start to revisit the love triangle/square.

Seriously, I have no doubt they will get together this or next season. If all that 1x13 crap wouldn’t have happened - Cheryl’s suicide attempt, the truth about the Blossoms, than Archie’s Dad being shot - he would’ve told Betty that day.
