I remember watching that episode. Archie trying to tell his brother what to do. I am the oldest of 3 boys. My brothers like trying to tell me what to do. If I say something to them about what to do, they practically have a panic attack.

@@finster1968 Fred Bunker was NOT a narcissist. Sadly, that is a term that has fallen into use as of late to describe any kind of odd behavior and/or behaviors that others disagree with. If there WAS anything wrong, I think it was simply that Fred was going though a mid life crisis. Some men react by buying little red convertibles. Some marry much younger women. I'm kind of curious. What is YOUR hangup about age? If there is love, or at least caring, and both parties are of legal consenting age, what is your issue?

How gross is that? If he was still alive, you could ask my great grandfather. When my great grandmother died, he got remarried. He was 65 and she was 19. And Archie's brother was NOT 'going out' with that 18 year old. They were MARRIED.
