Easily one of the best shows on KZbin, the attention to detail, and respect for the people in these episodes is extraordinary. Please never stop, these should be in a museum.

I love Doshin the Giant by Mr. Kazutoshi Iida! I always wanted to know more about the man who made it, thank you! I imported a 64DD unit from Japan in the 90's mainly to play Doshin and was so glad the game was translated into English for the GameCube port in 2002! Doshin is my favorite God game! ^_^

Doshin the Giant was one of my first and one of my favorite game for the Nintendo GameCube. I´m glad that I now found out who was the mind behind it and probably why no next game was made. Thanks!

The first piano-piece is amazing! Also very interesting to see old buildings being re-purposed while still retaining their charm.

So he hasn't made a game since Doshin? I am sure he has made enough observations for another one (or a hundred) by now :)

Strange, he says Doshin was his last title, but he apparently made Discipline for WiiWare with Marvelous back in 2009 or 2010 IIRC. Did he actually not work on it after all, or maybe he just doesn't want to acknowledge it for some reason? I hope he makes another game, particularly for Switch as it'd be perfect for an indie game from him. He's clearly a very creative, experimental person and I'd love to see what else he can create. Great video BTW, very nicely done! :D

Thank you, and I think you're probably right about Discipline, although there's only very little info about this game...

How are you guys funded? You surely can't make videos with this level of production on youtube views alone
@ArchipelDocumentaries7 жыл бұрын
Thanks for your question. We are working on the side in order to self-fund the series.
@odinj6477 жыл бұрын
toco toco tv Wow, that's amazing, I figured you would be funded by some multimedia corporation. Must be tough going self-funded, but much props, you're doing great work! Also have you guys considered Patreon? That could be a another good option for funding

I Believe Old aged Sempais should make 2D games using their legendary skills and leave 3D to better young modelers , riggers and animator ,,etc, because it takes huge amount of time and doesn't really show their real potential, Arigato everyone ;
