Corey, That was quite wonderful! Thank you. I can’t help comparing this park to the one we walked through a few weeks ago with all the oldsters, kids, and families….. Maybe the plantings in this one are too complex for all those people but I do hope it gets enjoyed. BTW…the deep red spectacular flowers are amaranths and the white tall plants with the droopy white flowers are nicotiana……. So many varieties!!! And the weeping beech! I hope I can visit it someday. ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks for the info! I never know about flowers. I think you’re referring to Parc Monceau which is spectacular in its own right. We’re lucky to have so many inspiring green spaces here. I hope you’re able to visit Square Carnot one day!

On one of those cultural weekends in September. when once or twice a year many of the Gov't buildings are open to the public and shedloads of stuff you can't usually see is open for public viewing - we went into the Garde's stables by this garden and they are awesome. An absolutely lovely historic indoor schools and nice old stables - as well as other modern equestrian facilities. They also have a small museum in there which has some nice social history as well history of the Garde. If you can get in on the next one you should try it - though I know there is shedloads of other stuff to see on that weekend.
