If you get an error message everytime you enter the game telling you to disable hi res patch enter ddraw and change it to HiResMode=0. The config of the current build sets it by itself.

I only use MO2, which I'm not going to lie, seemed like a daunting task at first (I grew up with a N64 and got my first 'modern' console when i was 18) but after i found GamerPoets' channel, all this $#!+ was INSTANTLY so much easier to comprehend, I'm actually learning how to mod now (thanks to the introduction to all the MISC. that comes with PC)! TLDR : 10/10 Channel!

how do you change the layout in the item menu? i dont like the way everything is condensed in the new one

Item menu? Using skse won't change your menus. It's mostly just a requirement for other mods. If you are asking for mod suggestions. Skyui was always the go to but there are plenty of others that either build on top of skyui or do without it. Just have to browser user interface mods.

What is the Mo2 equivalent of vortex conflict avoidance ?

Mo2 has lightening bolts next to mods that tell you if they overwrite some or all of another mod. Or are being overwritten. And that point you can double clock the mod to see exactly what files are being overwritten and by what mod. At which point you drag and drop the position of the mod in the left windows to adjust. If you want to see if records in plug-ins are being over written you need to use xedit. (regardless what mod manager you have)

@@gamerpoets In vortex it will suggest load position, before, after or not at the same time, order over a conflicting mod or mods. I am not so sure of what to do in mo2. Topic for video???

It can be. Unless you need the plug in space in an already stable load order, there's no need to merge anything.

I made the mistake of doing this with a fuck ton of mods already installed. YOU need a ridiculous amount of things before even attempting this with a modded skyrim. that being said. i'd do this at the start of your game, make sure your enb is compatible with it ( mine was not ) then once you have the enb and normal mod tools. set this up. then you can load any new ones in that you might download. even if you start a new game. if there is existing mods. it can be problematic.
