Temple of Life was the second song written for and professionally recorded by Avril. She had a knack for interpreting songs, and with her incredible voice, laying down the tracks quickly and confidently. It was an exciting time for me, my family and fellow musicians involved in the My Window to You CD project. We were one link in a chain of her early development. The night before my CD release event I learned that Avril would be going to New York City in the new year to pursue a career in the music industry.

Temple of Life came to me after listening to several Praise and Worship albums that John Lavigne, Avril's Dad, lent me and listening to some Southern Gospel albums I had of the Staple Singers; and last but not least recognizing that one of the ways I connect with God is through God's Creation (Nature). Her Dad suggested she sing a Praise and Worship outro at the end of the song which still sends chills down my spine when I listen to it.

I have had these early Avril song on an MP3 player since the early 2000s no idea how I got them, possibly napster. I always assumed this and two rivers were covers of classic country songs and not originals. Bravo

The avril today is not the same one from before 2003, she was cloned and Unfortunately most likely killed because she didn't want to go the direction that the record company's were going and probably too much of a risk. She had a huge influence on people. Her voice actually got higher which is nearly impossible as you age, her hair and face are slightly different, her personality, body language and mannerisms are completely different. Also her ears are completely shaped different compared to the one we see today as well as the corners of her eyes and those are things that don't change. Do some research and read into some reddit threads on this also compare interviews and live performances from before 2003 and afterwards.
