Photography techniques in archviz and really appreciate you teaching these to others, i see my fellow batch mates struggling to create good renders as they have little to no knowledge about lightning, composition, framing or anything related to photography or cinematography make it look like work from peter mckinnon... well maybe not as good as him, lol.... but yeah.. please keep uploading this kind of awesome techniques you are doing great deed to archviz community. thank you.!!!! p.s. sometimes i like to add a lens filter effect by making a glass material and replicating my fav. filter with 50-70 mm lens....

Hello, would a reflective mesh or a 2nd fill light provide faster render times? This lighting trick is great and I'm wondering if it renders faster than a fill light doing the same thing. Keep the tutorials coming.

Thank you for the tricks. I would like to know how this works if reflection level is at zero.
@chrislangeveldt88594 жыл бұрын
Daniel reflection would determine how 'sharp' the reflections are. In other words with zero reflection it just means it would be a very diffused reflection. Think in line of surface properties when considering reflection. e.g a rock's surface properties would scatter ( reflect ) the light in all directions due to the micro surface being very coarse. A mirror on the other hand would have a perfect surface and the light wont scatter all over the place and reflection in a perfect angle in angle out. Hope this makes sense. TL:DR Light hits an object and some of that light gets absorbed and some of that light gets reflected, how that reflected light behaves depends on the surface of the object
@danielguedes15594 жыл бұрын
@@chrislangeveldt8859 Wow, now I understand. Thank you very, very much, Chris! Awesome!
@romannavratilid4 жыл бұрын
What would be the differece between this and using some "plane" lights (or how are they called in Corona)... The effect here is more subtle than you would ever get with lights (even on super low intensity?) or is the only difference that this technique (i assume) is faster to render (lights) are more hardware/render time demanding?
