Could be interesting if you can only recruit marauders into your army as chaos warriors join of their own will, meaning you need to beg, borrow, and steal from all the competing warbands to build your own host of chaos warriors. You start at the bottom and then backstab, trick, and slaughter your way to the top to either a individual god's favor to become a lieutenant of an Everchosen or become favored by all gods by the time of the Storm of Chaos to become the leader of Chaos Undivided.

IF chaos is playable and IF they use a character progression system thats fairly true to the lore then you may very well run the risk of seeing that chaos lord you have nurtured up through the ranks from a mere marauder, gaining the favor of the gods over the last 100+ turns... only to be judged unworthy and mutating into a chaos spawn. Imagine that moment :p

Arch: You are probably one of the best guys to ask this: On the cover of Warhammer Armies - Chaos - 4th Edition - The cover in the background has a massive, seemingly mountain-sized machine-like monstrosity on it. Huge cannons on it, something that looks like spiked wheels, maybe a torso at the top? What IS that thing? I haven't played Chaos so I never read all the books, but I've seen the cover and I always wondered. Keep up the videos, Enjoying the speculation and lore!

Ahhhh yes now that IS a fairly old timy question indeed and yeah it requires some knowledge of how warhammer fantasy and 40k interact. Essentially what you are seeing there is a Demon engine a combination of a (judging by the size) greater Demon (in this case Khorn) and machine, now ofc a machine of that size would be impossible to build much less move even with modern tech but the demonic power inside it essentially gives the machine "life" and enable it to ignore many of the mundane laws of our worlds system of gravity and physics. However there is a catch, the bigger the machine the grater the demonic essence required as even amongst greater demons there is vast discrepancy in power and as i talked about in my chaos video the bigger the demon the bigger the demand for warp energy. So while there are several smaller demon engines like fks www.games-workshop.com/resources/catalog/product/600x620/99129915013_SoulGrinderXbox.jpg and they can take essentially any form, shape and size. Something the size of that on the Chaos 4th would only be possible inside the warp (the rulers of the warp can create anything they want inside the warp including so called "demon worlds" where armies of millions of demons and chaos worshipers engage in endless conflict simply to amuse the gods) or in extremely close proximity to the Chaos gates in the Warhammer world. Phew that was a long one, but i think that should answer your question :)

What if they implement a dueling mode where the general of both armies fight it one on one on even terms, and you control the general of your army in a third person rpg style and fight the opposing general, where if you lose the duel your character dies. And the way a duel is fought is like For Honor where you fight it out by blocking and actual sword fighting instead of just clicking. And the stats you have for the general will affect how much damge you do on hit and stuff, you know standard.

Since you like skaven arch, and this seems like an old question, but Don't Skaven have a Rule that state that they can flat out refuse a challenge no matter what? So here is my question, If Wulfrick the wanderer challenged a skaven warlord or something of the likes, can they refuse the challenge? or do they HAVE to accept it?

I think it has to do with mentality. A human who gets insulted will attack even if it means death, whereas the Skaven couldn’t care less about the insults being thrown at them.

Extremely late here, but Skaven simply do not suffer the consequences for refusing challenges, but there's nothing stating that they always do it. So, if I remember correctly, A skaven warlord still has to accept the challenge from Wulfrik.

You said that a vampire lord can't kill a Chaos lord, now chaos units are extremly powerfull idd but there is NOTHING a kitted out combat vampire lord can't kill but that vampire may very well cost every singel lord/hero point for your army. I play both VC and WoC and I can tell you for sure you can't be sure off who would win between a Vampire lord and Chaos lord both are extreamly good combat lords and extreamly expensive (the vampire may be l lot more expensive as he can also be a lvl 4)

I like your points on chaos beeing an AI faction, that just causes havoc and distruption in the world from time to time. they have so many different exciting units and heroes! Like the mongols all of a sudden comes in medieval 2

yyyp12345 I think those guys who made Call of Warhammer for Medieval 2 solved this in quite a good way. If the AI plays as Chaos, they get a shit-ton of bonuses at a certain stage of the game that causes them to become an apocalyptic wave that sweeps down south. Imagine the mongols, just times four! If the Player chooses to play as Chaos, they'll spend the beginning of the game building up and fighting other chaos factions for dominance with the occasional interloper from the other races, before they too turn their gaze on the south and march on to Altdorf, but without the massive AI-resource and unit boost due to player intelligence. That way, AI Chaos remains terrifying, while playing as Chaos yourself becomes fun and also challenging :)

A great army's video though i would like to say that if they do add in Chaos warriors to the Total war game. Which i believe they will later on with one of the two or three expansions they announced. julian brown well I asked a friend of mine about him apparently he was in the old version of warriors of chaos I think 4th edition and apparently he's a sorcerer with a darth vader like suit of armour keeping him alive and rides a dragon he's also the leader of a powerful tzeentch cult so if we do see chaos its probably going to be tzeentch focused
