uhhh buddy.... a tad bit of side to side play is normal on a connecting rod...... zero up and down play is what you are looking for, there was nothing wrong with the big end rod bearing.

We know that. We checked the up down play off camera and it was out to lunch,

Great video series. I just bought an artic cat 700 efi Ian’s I can’t get anything from the engine. Need to look at the wires on it. Keep the videos coming.

What kind of issues are you having?? Maybe we can point you in the right directions

@@905garage5 the starter turns but nothing from the engine. Don’t know if the injector is getting a signal to deliver the fuel. I do see some wires where the layer is peeling. Want to take all the wires off and go thru it and would like to take the engine out and take it apart to see what needs replacing.

@@rickylandry5472 is there any noise coming from the fuel pump?Pull your fuel fill cap and listen closely while cycling the key to see if the fuel pump is priming , a simple process of elimination , also if there is any codes flashing on your display panel that would be a great start

@@905garage5 when I turn the key the fuel pump kicks on and primes the line. There are no errors that show up in the display. Looks like it will be a process to figure what is causing it

Hey mate, I have a 2015 arctic cat 700 cat my gear shifter sounds like it's selecting between p r n h L however it's stuck in park. It doesn't feel any different to when it was working. Any idea what it could be ?

I would start by disconnecting the gear shift linkage and checking the actual shifter itself to make sure it's moving free , once that's confirmed it narrows it down to being a selector issue or internal problem but likely the be just the electrical sensor which reads your gear select

Had the same issues with my 07 650 H1 seems that is common to Arctic Cats shity set up for sure.

Agreed ,once the issues we're adressed and this thing was rebuilt it ran great and had great oil pressure, sadly i think current arctic cat / textron atv quality goes down more every year
