I recently purchased 2 artic cat thunder cat 1000XT 2014 model both identical. There the half front artic cat green and the rear half black. There incredible machines I got them both from the original owner there garage kept.everything works perfect one has 800 miles and 500 hours and the other has 230 hours and 748 miles. The power steering is amazing. It has so much bottom and top end. I don’t know why all the artic cat 1000cc models are hard to find especially in good condition. I believe there very underated I can barley find any videos or reviews anywhere especially in the own I own. I want to post some KZbin videos soon if mine for everyone to see! I have own Kawasaki bayou 300 4x4 Honda rancher 420 4x4 Suzuki ozark 250 and Honda recon 250 as well as a Honda rancher 350 and a Yamaha kodiak 450 and 700. I love the automatic transmission of the artic cat and how big and responsive it is. I’m really impressed.

...the H2 motor is amazing- they had some troubles with built quality and reliability- but its just a shame they dont sell this anymore...

I own this quad, an '09, same bike. Has been awesome and it flat out rips. Amazing how a sport utility quad can be so much fun. Great video.

Can am is garbage compared to this machine. They're built for different use and different owners basically. Can ams twin spar aluminum frame is extremely weak, Arctic Cat used their biggest and strongest frame with this machine and after all this time they're still bulletproof. Can ams suspension has 1 advantage and that is cornering, but the big cat will always keep up. Arctic Cat is the #1 race winner because of how fast they are, they're the toughest longest lasting big machines ever Made. Not my opinion either, I am actually simply relaying actual results from all these years. The can ams frames notorious for twisting and breaking. Early Arctic Cat 1000 models did infact have the front diff flaw and too small of a front driveshaft which Arctic Cat stepped up to replace/fix on their dime and time. Also the bevel gear of the first year and a half was a true bevel cut making it indestructible in drive but guys with 100+ HP machines and 33" tires were popping them in REVERSE so Cat remedied the issue with straight cut making them as strong in either direction. Also the water pumps seal was originally ceramic (which is top shelf) but in the unique situation a few had cracked, leaking coolant so Cat changed to a brass setup fixing it. Can ams t Rotax engine is excellent and I love them, but their long term reliability is not on par with the real Arctic Cats pure and simple. Also is an owner wants to turn their massive 1000 Cat twin into a quick revver like the rotax you can easily and cheaply but the torque of a cat twin from the factory is already more than anyone else's, but still can be done cheaply and quickly but reliability suffers Abit. But a can am can't really be built as tractor type torque/reliable as a stock Cat in Short

i have a 650 h1 and a 1000 wildcat h2 and i love them- just gotta use best oil- thick oil like 15-50 and ride them 90% - no big problems- good strong machines and as you said overall built and suspension love them both- polaris rear (570 atv)seems like a kids bike compared ;-)@@johnserrano9689

@@camaro69green31 I have owned many atv I no what iam talking about when your local CF Moto dealer tells you that they are junk you no they are you are the one that does not no what they are talking about I have owned every main brand there is out there and that is a fact they are cheaply made they are in the shop all the time you can not get parts unless you wait for months to get them and they have the worst resale then any atv out there you are just pissed off because you no that iam right CF Moto junk junk junk
