What a great testimonial. Purchased it with your own money and kicked some 1000cc a$$! When you get it done come run it back to back with our Outlander 1000. It would be killer to see how they stack up against the stopwatch. The grizzly is underrated.

There's a lot of context left out of this video. I'm sorry but to try to paint a Grizzly as a GNCC capable machine for a new rider or someone new to the sport is extremely disingenuous. There are numerous variables left out of his video that I won't get into.

awesome vid man! I've owned 3 grizzlies in the past however, I've gone mainly to 2 wheels since then but I just recently purchased a 2021 kodiak 700 mostly to work around my property. Man you got me thinking about throwing some grizzly clutch weights in there and start ripping around again! I've got the base model so it's actually about 40 pounds lighter than the grizz but with the same motor(minus the lighter clutch weights, diff lock and eps) It would be awesome to give one of these gncc races a try. Definitely the main reason I continue to go back to the yamaha 686 platform is that reliability, the grizz will serve you well for many years to come! Looking forward to more vids!

@@ATVScenehi 😁 yeah Internet gives so much of possibilities these days👍i made new seat frame using epoxy and fibre sheets, it gives You about 5cm as grizz has a spacers underneath the seat frame and seat mounts (so i made it bottom flat😜)I'm 178cm and something about80kg, Grizz has a one problem which is space between axles (if it would be 7-8cm longer on frame would be ideal bike as it gets sketchy on some bumpy parts and intend to nose down and on downhills and pick up rear easily which gives u sometimes uncomfortable feeling down the slopes or sharp break peaks, but reliability is spectacular.GNCC races are the ultimate dream for me 😜when i travel to US must is to see one of theses races😁CU and all the best in Your riding if You have a onquad view clip post it on KZbin im sure all grizzly lovers would like to see it😁👍keep on racing and posting hopefully ill get back soon as Covid comotion finally ends 🤦🖐️all the best👊

So I’m looking at the grizzly really hard, I keep hearing that the EHS air box and tuner are a must however would I be fine without these upgrades? It would be nice to purchase without having to instantly install aftermarket parts to make it good. If it’s as good as everyone claims then should’ve have to Install that stuff asap. My main concerns are the air intake I’ve read some people have ruined motors with dirt entering the motor. My other concern is the motor running lean. Will this affect it in the long run or at different altitudes? can anybody sway me address these concerns? I I’m trying to decide between this and a kingquad 750, So far I haven’t seen any issues with the KQ. Is the extra MSRP for the Grizzly worth it? Thanks for any answers
@ATVScene
@ATVScene 2 жыл бұрын
I think the extra cost is worth it, but my second choice is the KingQuad, it's a very well-made machine, just not as good as the Grizzly in my opinion. Government appointed groups, that control our emissions, are only awarded additional funding if they continue to come up with new ways to lower emissions. So as years progress manufactures will need to jump through more and more hoops, most cork up the machine, which isn't good for performance or longevity.

@@ATVScene The only reason I'm saying anything here is I watched a video like this and then went out and bought a Scrambler and it held me back. I'm not here to be disrespectful on the Grizzly, but it's not competitive for GNCC. I think one of the biggest things you're leaving out is that CJ Raceway was a late addition to the GNCC circuit. That track was not indicative of a typical race. It was tight with no where to pass and was full of bottlenecks. If it had been a a typical race I think your perspective would be different. To say the Grizzlies have an advantage in the fields (while subjective), is misleading. It's harder to get the rear loose, and it doesn't have the HP to compete on tracks with a larger field section. As you stated, the low end grunt isn't there along with the HP for the fields. That adds up over the length of the race. Us "racer types" do leave the quads in 4wd, they handle better. About the start, if my memory serves me right, there were only 2 racers with 1K's, and an 850 won the race. We also all took it easy on the start due to people clobbering the hay bail on the 1st turn and the giant kicker after the turn. Finally, and I'll tread lightly here... as you stated that you've been into Powersports since you were 10 and you raced against guys who are beginners. Two of the guys in our class are physically disabled. I suggest that a gentlemen with your experience take the Grizzly to the 4x4 B or 4x4 Senior class to really make your point about the Grizzly's capability. In fact, there are several riders in 4x4 B, 4x4 Senior and 4x4 A that ride 570's. I really hope this doesn't come across the wrong way. I'm just trying to stop people who plan on racing from making the wrong choice, like I did.

@@PhillyLS1 Ok a lot of good points here. Thanks for writing. The 850 is still a lot bigger than the 686cc Grizzly, and Can-Am's Rotax engines make some serious horsepower compared to a stock Grizz. My theory was to enter a class that started in the back row to best get out of everyone's way. It was my first time I ever raced a 4x4 and I thought the Grizzly would be a lot slower especially in stock form so I figured it was the best class for me. Plus I'm a lot older and slower than I used to be now days. I will definitely enter the 4x4 Senior class next time, and by then I will have built up the machine to better tackle a GNCC. As for the field sections, I actually passed a few 4x4s and even a sport quad in the field areas. They looked like they were two-wheeling more than my Grizzly. I just felt very planted and precise, it handles really well for a big heavy 4x4. And I agree the Grizzly is not the best choice for racing GNCC, the Can-Am without a doubt gives the best chance for finishing well. My only reason for racing it is to show that while not the ideal choice, it can still offer a great ride even in the most extreme terrain (nothing's tougher than a GNCC). I have to say, I appreciate the way you commented. A lot of people feel they need to attack others on the Internet for some reason. I feel like you would have approached me in person with the same words, so thank you for that.

@@ATVScene you both made very good points. And you both handled it well. Crazy to see two grown men get along on social media nowadays. Like PhillyLS1 said I do my research bigtime before I purchase. I have two Yamaha 450R’s and an about grab a Can Am 850 or 1000 Outlander. Once I grab the can am I will take it and the stock 450 to BNR for some work (the other 450 is already built). Enjoy that Grizzly they are good quads

@@coryemerson9225 Thanks, and great choice with BNR. I get a lot of my inside info from pro-level racer friends off the record - BNR is legit for sure. Good luck in 2021!

100hp doesn't matter when it's always in the shop, have a polaris with not even 800 miles on it and literally nothing works. Stop buying junk put these horse shit companies out of business.
