Discord links don't work, they expired. I got Ryzen 7 5800x, bought Arctic LF II 280 and it didn't fit althought my case supports 280. Radiator + fans are just huge, and I heard 240 height is no different it literally hits the motherboard heat sink. My case is Zalman Z8. Will something like Arctic Freezer 34 esports duo be enough? Or do I need to look deeper into liquid cooling options. 🤷🏻♂️

is it normal for the 360 version to not feel any warm or hot air from the radiator when 13900k is pushed to the max at 253W, obviously thermal throttled but i honestly believed this aio is not compatible with asus z790 board, at least with my strix e. The vrm heatsink actually touched the aio mount.
@yakacm2 жыл бұрын
You can remove the shroud around the VRM cooler, that's how I got mine to fit my Z690 Hero.
@exsinner2 жыл бұрын
@@yakacm I have the rev 3 argb. The shroud is fine, its the metal mounting bracket that touched the top vrm heatsink. When I removed the aio, its always the same top part that still has thick paste on it, its impossible to have it fully contact. I've used thermalright contact frame as well but no dice. I've been thinking of switching to h150i but i hate the fact that i cant have it controlled through my bios. I really dont want to have multiple bloatware on my machine. I also would like to have my 4090 vertical mount for better clearance with its cable, right now its touching the glass panel. Vertical mount is just not possible with LF ii due to the stiff tubing.
