Lyrics: I want an interesting synonym to describe this thing That you say we're all grandfathered in I'll use the search engine (We've got much to discuss) Too much to discuss over a bucket of balls I can recall the glow of your low beams It's the big night in Tinsel City Life became a spectator sport I launch my fragrance called Integrity I sell the fact that I can't be bought Have I told you all about the time that I got sucked into a hole Through a handheld device? I will flashback now and again, but I'm usually alright Thankfully, the process has been simplified Since the last time you tried I've recognised the glow of your low beams numerous times I'll be by the Batphone if you need to get a hold Making a selection, opening credits roll Panoramic windows looking out across your soul You go in through the door Vengeance trilogy wallpaper walls They have re-decorated it all They've changed all the lights and the bar's down the side I've recognised the glow of your low beams numerous times Through fairly opaque blinds in the sitting room Vehicles will pass by, but I know when it's you I'll be in a nose dive in my flying shoes Right behind your closed eyes like a memory from your youth I'll be by the Batphone if you need to get a hold Making a selection, opening credits roll Killer Pink Flamingos, computer controlled Panoramic windows looking out across your soul

I do not think that this song will ever be "swept under the rug". There is a reason why this song sticks out in my mind and I am a music snob (to my own demise of course). The mixing and vibe of this song is so special for something to come out in 2018. I was not an Arctic Monkeys fan until this album and I wish that people could see past the previous body of work and listen to this without the "do I wanna know" and "are you mine' goggles. This song and this album will be considered some of the best music to come out of the 2010's. just like how retro video game people took 20 years to decide on "hidden gems". This will forever be some of the best music I have ever heard until this point. (for me of course your opinion matters. I am 33 at this point)

LYRICS I want an interesting synonim To describe this thing That you say we're all grandfathered in I'll use the search engine (We've got much to discuss) Too much to discuss, over a bucket of balls I can recall The glow of your low beams It's the big night in Tinsel City Life became a spectator sport I launch my fragrance called "Integrity" I sell the fact that I can't be bought Have I told you all About the time that I've got sucked into a hole Through a handheld device I would flash back now and again But I'm usually alright Thankfully the process has been simplified Since the last time you tried I've recognized the glow of your low beams Numerous times I'll be by the Batphone If you need to get a hold Makin' a selection Opening credits roll Panoramic windows Lookin' out across your soul [Instrumental] You go in through the door Vengeance trilogy wallpaper walls They have redecorated it all They've changed all the lights and the bar's down the side I've recognized the glow of your low beams Numerous times Through fairly opaque blinds In the sitting room Vehicles will pass by But I'll know when it's you I'll be in a nose dive In my flying shoes Right behind your closed eye Like a memory from your youth I'll be by the Batphone If you need to get a hold Makin' a selection Opening credits roll Killer pink flamingos Computer-controlled Panoramic windows Lookin' out across your soul [Instrumental]

I've recognized the glow of your beams numerous times through fairly opaque lights in the sitting room. Vehicles will pass by, buy i know when its you! I'll be in a nose dive in my flying shoes! Right behind your closed eyes, like a memory from your youth! oh, god, can you be more amazing???

Went to see them live and they only played one song from this masterpiece album. Crazy thing is that the songs that sounded best were from 'The Car'. Don't get me wrong, I loved their first two albums when they came out, but time passes and they have aged gracefully with their last 2 albums. Much more of a fan now.

I would just like to say that this album really got me into Arctic Monkeys. after listening to AM I almost didn't continue listening to them until I listened to this album. I'm my opinion is a genuinely beautiful album with a very unique sound and vibe. Not everyone's gonna like it, whether it's because they don't like the way it sounds or because they like their slightly older stuff. I genuinely love this album and I could listen to it for days (and I have)

I want this song to be in all future cyberpunk, dystopian or apocolyptic games from now on.
