Funny because I primarily only love their WPSIATWIN punk rock album, the others like Humbug, SIAS, and AM were too boring to me However I liked Tranquility Base Hotel and Casino. hmm, I disagree Damon Albarn is an example of experimenting and improving. I used to love AM but actually it seem that they are struggling to find new sounds... Favorite Worst Nightmares was a step to this but after that, their music got repetitive to me. Maybe it's just me I still listen to the band but it's been hard to enjoy all of their material since cornerstone.

i used to listen to this album when it came out in the summer of 18, when a close friend just had killed herself. This brings me a strange nostalgia because i used to spend that summer evenings in a park reading books so i wont think of killing myself aswell (that friend and i loved to read books, and every summer we would spend it in the library, in school breaks she was the only one that I saw beside my family). This song makes me feel so well and when it ends it makes me wanna cry, it reminds me of the soft wind and the warm evening lighting and Stephen King book's!!!

As a kid, I was convinced there was no longer somebody with the brilliance of the stars of yesteryear on the scene... I'm ashamed to say I heard a couple songs by AM from the first album that I turned my nose up at completely... Well, I'll be the first to say I was wrong. Alex Turner is a genius songwriter, and very imaginative in the studio! My opinion never mattered anyway, but it's amazing how good art can change your perspective... The depth of songwriting skill demonstrated across their albums is immense. Definitely one of the best songwriters of our generation

Es un poco agobiante las personas que entran solamente a comentar que quieren a los "viejos arctic monkeys". Al igual que las personas cambiamos con los años, también lo hace la banda. Es decir, no podés esperar a que suene igual que hace cuatro años atrás. Mejor aprendan a valorar la evolución en todos sus aspectos en vez de tomarse el tiempo solamente para criticar.

Lo malo es que en este album no se escucha mucha diferencia del AM. Sigue siendo el mismo Alex Turnner melódico, con canciones con ritmo lento y coros repetitivos hasta el cansancio (Para mi es como si esa persona no hubiera cambiado con los años), pero claro es mi opinión y esta canción no me desagrada("The Ultracheese" Tambien me agrada) . No te agobies por los que solo critican por criticar :)

Opino lo mismo, mucha gente ha estado diciendo que él álbum es muy malo y que es un asco, cuando se filtro antes no lo escuche y sinceramente tenía mucho miedo de escucharlo pero no es malo, no es su mejor álbum pero no es malo y tiene canciones buenas, creo que lo que realmente no le gusto a las personas es que cambiaron su estilo

I respect them hugely. Art is art, you make it, people like it or they don't. They did what they felt like and not what they thought would sell large amounts of records. Its how it should be and a refreshing change. I'm a huge fan of all music and I remember that when Skream went from dubstep to techno he said in an interview "come with me, or fuck off"

Another A quality album with great lyrics, songwriting and a very atmospheric sound. I like that they always try something new and they always go to different directions. This album is a bit of a mix of earlier Monkeys sounds (AM and SIAS in particular), TLSP + influences of Bowie or Gaye. It's a concept album which requires to listen to the whole from start to finish, which I really like. That's why I don't bother if they won't release a single from it. I've listened it three times now and it gets better and better with every listen. They are one of the very few bands in the past 10-15 years which make high quality albums every time. Thanks for the music, guys.

I just want to say that lately NASA found huge amounts of water near the crater... Clavius. Thats probably one of the first places if not THE first place for our moon base. Well then, I guess that really...Cute new places keep on poping up around Clavius. And thats the second time Alex prooves he had some prophet dreams around 2018. "She looks like fun" was the first one. That album trutly is a masterpiece beyond time...
