So sad how people expected the boys to go back to their old sound. They don’t need to. This is great

@@strangedaysindeed9 and then went back to it again later with songs like Revolution. Dig a Pony . I Got a Feeling .. Get back .. etc.. They wrote some of the best songs of their career at this point.. Unlike the Monkeys .
@strangedaysindeed92 жыл бұрын
@@garydixon6315 Ah, you like the classic rock songs. 'Let It Be' is arguably their worst album. At the same time both Lennon and McCartney were still evolving and trying to broaden their horizons. 'Revolution #9' was released in the same period, Lennon did his experimental solo projects. McCartney is still experimenting to this date in all types of genres, is not afraid to push some boundaries. Arctic Monkeys nor The Beatles didn't stop pushing themselves. We've got the pleasure we can still see McCartney doing this at age 80 ('Deep Deep Feeling', 'Get Enough', 'All Day' with Kanye West, 'The Kiss Of Venus' with Dominic Fike, and so on), and at this very moment we can experience this with Alex Turner writing his best songs to date.
