So how the “pst” performance? Is the splitter really good? Do you recommend to use one or get a 3rd party 4 pin splitter or even a fan hub?
@tekhCHEK4 жыл бұрын
Thanks for the question and actually daisy changing fans is one of my favourite methods for helping with cable management and the PST on these works great. I usually daisy chain three together in the front being powered by one header and then two exhausting (top/back) chained on a second header. However if your dealing with only one header you may need to get a splitter.

I been looking alot of tests and these seem to be best static pressure optimized fans out there, even better than Noctua's A12x25 in performance, how ever i dont belive they will last as long as Noctua's would. But considering you can get 5 pack of these for price of one Noctua A12x25 i think its good buy, you can replace the fans cheaply anyway. I have 8 of these in my custom watercooling loop. If someone like me wants RGB, missing RGB can be fixed by using Phanteks Halos RGB fan frames.

Hello! Do you need to use the connection feature between the fans? Or can you just use them as a standard PWM fan and use a fan hub to wire everything up. Because i want all of the cables fro the fans to meet in one place.
@serbianempire64562 жыл бұрын
I believe you don't. The 4 pin connector mount they all have is there so you wouldn't have to plug them in individually into separate connectors out of the box, buy you can. PST stands for PWM sharing technology and is there just as a feature, not as a must. They also sell the exact same fan but with a single 4 pin connector on the cable that goes into the motherboard without additional 4 pin mount but this one doesn't go in the bulk of 5 as far as I know.
@supercharged14824 жыл бұрын
I have a question so i can plug this 4pin fan to my motherboard and also connect other fans to the second 4pin of the fan. Will it run at max speeds? Or will it be shared like 1800:2 = 900rpm sry i cant explain well good video btw
@tekhCHEK4 жыл бұрын
Its alright you explained great I understand what your trying to ask and no you don't have to worry about that unless you overload your Motherboard header. When daisy chaining your MB sends the signal to the first fan and then the rest run at that same speed as long as you don't overload the header. Most motherboard headers are 1 AMP and most newer case fans are between .2 - .25 amps so you can safely get away with three to four on one chain and sometimes five with no issue at all. Thanks for watching and I hope I helped answer your question.
