Thought it'd be convenient to add a simple audio out to the micro handheld Arduboy FX, since the internal speaker is so quiet. It was a super easy $0.70 mod using a 3.5mm splitter I picked up on clearance and a few minutes of time. From this I can now output to headphones, aux speakers or RCA to stereos/TVs. I test this on an Atlas 600 magnifier with S-Video CRT. This is a purely analog approach, there are emulators including for MiSTer FPGA, but I like messing with the actual hardware.
