Let me provide some legal explanation. A person can record any public place without any objection to do so because it is a public place and the person is not recording a specific person. Furthermore, this would not be considered a breach of privacy because there is nothing private about a public place hence it is not objectionable. However if the person in question aims to record a specific person without his/her consent and the video might seem objectionable, that person has every reason to object. It cannot be considered a right. Legally, right has a very specific and bounded meaning. What vikas says about commenting about people on roads doing things with derogatory language can be considered as defamation whether it be slander or libel.Hope I cleared some points. feel free to reply. P.S I'm a law student.

Akash Sharma , you r right.there are barriers to film in public areas.but. but if at some point the video got into wrong hands and if they edited the video with abusive language n then uploaded it on the internet.then what.who should be blamed.the original person who filmed or the one who edited and uploaded?both. But what about the person in the video.that individual is already defamed.law is on one side and humanity is one the other.i reckon humanity is the first priority over books of law.

@suresh: Bro, it's all about respecting others. If u film me, my bike or anything in public, I've all the right to question you and make you delete that video. Anyone has the same right. (and imagine this in a real life situation it will obviously end up in a fight and there by cause public nuisance). It' s all about respecting other's boundaries and don't do unwanted things. If u normally take a video in public and assume I was there. U captured me also, maybe my vehicle, it wouldn't be a problem. But remember I've all the right to ask you to stop recording as well.

Totally agree with you. It's mostly about intention of photographers or videographers & mutual respect with each other who are in surrounding. But, what my doubt is... if you are shooting a video in public place & some unknown faces captured un-intentionally. At that very time, no one came & asked to delete any footage. Later that video got published... then from no where one from those unknown face came & claim for privacy invasion on your video!!!. I don't think so, it's legally it's possible.

I appreciate the content of this video. Many People with action cams take people's privacy for granted just to make their videos more entertaining and titles for click bait. It is unfortunately true that people speaking bad things about other people's mistakes about the way people are riding or behaving and post it on KZbin are getting lots of views. Even the most experienced riders or driver's have days where they make mistakes due to whatever internal reason. But showing their faces and identity and defaming them in public is not cool. Same goes for making derogatory statements and objectifying women, and their riding, and their looks, without their permissions. Portraying such content on your respective channels does give you views but goes to show that you are just a cheap and shallow person.

Because according to the law it comes under a section where it states that it's a privacy disturbance. My dad is a lawyer so I actually know the law. Disagree. Upon impact the action cams will either disintegrate or dislodge from the mount way before the force required to twist the neck. What may cause damage is the mount itself if it is large and placed in an awkward position such as mid Jaw and upper chin closer to the visor. So best is to buy one with the smallest and shortest formfactor mount.
