Very good video very true actually!!! I grew up Amish and that is exactly the reason I’m not Amish anymore when I became a Christian a born-again Christian they excommunicated me! many others out there like me! They truly have a form of godliness but denying the power thereof! I pray for my family especially that they would understand the plan of salvation before us for ever to late!! My father is probably the most honest man this world has to offer he would give you his last meal and let himself die for you but he is trying to work his way into heaven! It just makes me sad

When I was younger I wanted to be Amish. Mainly I was drawn to how they live off the land, make their own clothes, & separate themselves from the world. I knew they were religious but never studied what they believed.

I grew up Amish, and you are correct. I never heard of the articles of faith when I was Amish. I'd like to know what it says. I'm pretty sure the Old Order Amish community I grew up in does not have those articles. And yes, we shall all pray for the Amish. My family has shunned me because I left the Amish, and because I don't believe what they believe Biblicaly. There are more people leaving because they see the truth.

Does anyone know what "born again" means? Like really carefully studied G1080 and G509 in the famous passage John 3:3? Once you understand what it really means, mysterious verses like John 1:13, John 3:3-8, 3:31, 8:41, Acts 13:33, 1Corinthians 4:15, Philemon 1:10, 1John 2:29, 3:9, 4:7, 5:1 (gennao is used 3 times in the same verse!), 5:4, 5:18 suddenly come ALIVE with shocking clarity and simplicity!

I agree I asked some Mennonites if they evangelize and they said that it was just for the men not for the women they just stay in their houses and take care of their kids they never have a chance to shine their light, I mean I agree that our kids are a minister to the lost

Your expectations on the Menonite faith are spot on. I was raised in the Holdeman church and the Gospel was preached but they teach Salvation can be lost. They do believe in being born again. They believe baptism is the door into the church which they believe is the only true church. We left the Holdeman church and the only way to leave is to be expelled. The founder of the church is John Holdeman. He started his church in around 1859.

Kimberly Smith I grew up Amish left the Amish for the very reason that he’s talking about in this video!! I got married and later on me and my wife decided we wanted to be part of a more structured group so we ended up joining a born-again believing Mennonite church I wouldn’t trade it for anything!! There is a big movement among the Amish churches to come back to understanding their need of a Savior

Some might be and some not. They do not teach it. They are not allowed to read the bible in English. I do pray for them. The bible does say believe on the Lord Jesus Christ and ye shall be saved. Yes they will shun people who say they have assurance of salvation. So sad.

If your works have SIN you are not born again. If you are born again you have Perfect Works, a Perfect Eternal Body, And the Perfect Eternal Life of Christ. If your works are those done by mans hands, by your own flesh-you are still in the flesh and are dead in your sins. If you are a member of the Body of Christ you have Perfect Works because Christ is your Perfect Works, Perfect Body, Eternal Life, Riches, Good Fruit and Full Reward
