Are Anime Games Alright?

I would love it if there was a new original IP anime arena fighter, that way it could stand on its own

I remember, a few years ago, some people split off from one of these companies(it was either CC2 or Arc System Works) and began to make an arena fighter. I don't know what happened to that project, though.

Im tired of anime fighting games in general I don’t want anymore 2D or 3D or arena fighters anime has the opportunity to branch out into different genres and and ideas with how popular it is saying “oh those games aren’t gonna sale” isn’t a answer when we haven’t had a large variety yet. Xenoverse sold well, Shinobi Strikers is still doing well some how and that’s because they are different from the norm when it comes to fighters! If they dropped a naruto, HXH, JJK, or rpg I’d buy in a heart beat

So you want more mmos and rpgs? I could see those working out well if they stick with them long enough. Making them more than one entry, giving it time to breathe, and having an actual fan base could do wonders for different types of anime games. Unfortunately, these days, if a game flops, it could put the whole development team out of business. I do agree that we need more than fighters for anime games.
