Overall I think they designed the faction pretty well, the only thing I wish they did is to give the passive a lunge and lock-on so its slightly easier to get kills with. Nothing crazy like maybe 1-1,5 meter lunge, I personally wouldn’t think it would make it broken if they also kept the same animation speed and the fact that you have to hold the melee button.

Yeah a small range like 3 meters or something and a lock on would be nice, the lock on might be too much though which is kind of the point of the lunge

@NyteFall I mean by lock-on i meant that your character would follow the guy your trying to stab to ensure you get the kill so that the guy cant just buttslide away to dodge it (sorta how Spectre’s Ripper from BO3 works) although I see how being able to dodge it via sliding would be a good counter.

How do you activate the egg? I’ve gotten the ultra a couple of times and hold the melee attack button and get kills but it’s never given me a teleport option nor teleports me.

Focus an enemy till the Icon turns YELLOW and then hit the FIRE button.

@ you mean aim (ADS) on the enemy then the egg will turn yellow then fire button or all you have to do is stare at them and it will turn yellow then fire button?

@@keychains2010 You don' t have to ADS and it has nothing to do with the egg/apple. Just focus the enemy with the special crosshair. The two bars are normally white and should turn yellow if you do it right. Then push the fire button as soon as you can.

@ thank you. I’ve never seen any special crosshairs nor white bars. I pull out the egg and hold it, the screen has the blue overlay and the enemies are red. That all mine shows. Hopefully I’ll be able to try it in practice mode and hopefully I don’t have some kind of glitch.

​​@@keychains2010Are you sure you are using the Ultra/Apple of Eden? The enemies should be yellow not red. With the ability "Eagle Vision" the enemys are red. Now I'm confused.

I know we talked about it on stream but they need a nerf so bad. Unless you catch em killing a teammate they're impossible to kill. Earlier today I got killed 3 times in a row by the same player. He killed me, I spawned too close and he got me again and again I spawned and he got me a 3rd time. I hope they don't leave them like this for 5 months. In a month from now it'll be the phantoms all over again

Wolves are better in every way. the ultra is good, but in ANY 2v1 scenario, the ultra is pointless. It DESTROYS 1v1 scenario, but anytime you have to fight more then pne person, youre dead. Theres also HEAVY startup to the ultra whereas echelon literally just has to shoot a gun and they get free walls lol. The passive sucks because melees arent as useful as doing more damage as a cleaner, having more health, or being undetectable by turrets or replenishing tacticals. The stun ability is very good, probably the best part about them. Its a solid faction, but its not broken. Wolves, cleaners, Echelon, phantoms, dedsec are all stronger. A solid ultra for sure, but it has major weaknesses. Assassins are good, but theyre just balanced. At first glance i thought the ultra was a top tier contender but with a lot of playing time w them, it has weaknesses

A very weak faction overall, but very fun. The hidden blade feels horrible on a gamepad; requiring holding the stick or a face button, depending on the layout, is just awkward and gets you killed more often than not. Eagle Vision isn't a full bonus, as it can make things like turrets or that flying proxy drone invisible to the eye as it doesn't glow while your screen is blue. Cherry Bomb is cheesy but is ultimately worse Firebomb. I remapped my gamepad layout to focus on melee when the update came out and got 27 melee kills in one game at max. It's fun to farm bad players, but even then, the lack of a lunge got me killed when I focused on abusing it. It's no MW2 commando pro, unfortunately.

Yeah having back paddles/buttons and remapping the melee to one of those can help a lot
