I used to get so hyped whenever I got to buy a new backpack for school, because I had to wear a uniform and the only way to express myself was my backpack🥲 I was very passionate about it, I used to put patches all over and even painted on them (I painted the The Adicts logo on one of them). love your videos btw🤍

I'm not sure if this is true for everyone but at my high school (and in my freshman year of college) all the preppy girls wore Fjalraven or Victoria's Secret Pink backpacks, the jocks wore Adidas or Nike backpacks, the normal kids wore Jansport or generic Jansport type backpacks, and the emo/goth/gay kids wore character messenger bags or backpacks from Hot Topic, I remember Batman, Nightmare Before Christmas, Invader Zim, and Pokemon being the most popular. (Yes I was an emo kid in high school lol)

I went into my freshman year in high school with a rolly backpack and thought it would be a good idea to not have to carry all my books on my back. Pretty much no one else had a rolly backpack though so I felt progressively more embarrassed throughout the school year being the only one at school who had one.

When I started highschool, my mom passed down a beautiful vintage leather backpack she'd had forever. I carried that through hs and college, up until about a year ago when I upgraded to one with a specific sleeve for laptop since I work in IT.
