I think the problem with 8 Toad’s Turnpike is that because it’s just a straight road with only a few soft turns, it needed the difficulty of the OG to be compelling and not feel barebones. Whereas for a track like DS Shroom Ridge, it has a much more engaging layout with the winding country road and shortcuts, so even though it’s easy, I still think it manages to be a lot of fun.

Somewhat hot take: i'd rather play figure 8 circuit than N64 RR. I don't find anything to enjoy in both track so i'd prefer to play the shorter one. Also since its a ds track i can at least practice my snaking in figure 8 while on RR im stuck with one ultra shortcut attempt per lap.

I'll be completely honest, I really like Wario Stadium. I feel like it's a great way to test your skills at this game. And honestly, the bumps in the road are really charming. And the Wario heads are fncking hilarious! It also has an incredible skeleton to get an incredible glow-up Edit: I just noticed that Biff and Sam had the exact same top 4 tracks but in different tiers

People argue that toad's turnpike in mario kart 8 is a shallow remake of the 64 version. But if you ask me, toad's turdpike was never good. The 8 version is boring, but at least it doesn't actively make me want to throw my controller through the wall. 8's turdpike is a bit better, but being a bit better than trash isn't that much of an improvement.

A Sir Musty on My Birthday No way!! This is the best birthday gift ever. But I have 2 things to say. 1.I still don't get a love the Dk Jungle Parkwau since it only have restless Natve I know people say "It have interesting turn" But you can you say with that with Bowser Castle but that track have more charm and more interesring harzard. Which make is A tier while DK Jungle Parkway is D tier since even with the Restless Native is just a boring Jungle/Forest Track. 2. I wish more people love the 8 version of Toad's Turnpike. I be first to admit. I love Og Toad Turnpike,but I can't lie. The track is bullshit due to the Slippery controllers + very narrow to past the cars. So when I play the 8 version I can say that 8 verison due to being fair and make sence that is more easy since it the end shell cup track. While og toad turnpike is the start of flower cup and is more then harder then yoshi valley and bowser castle.

N64 Toad's Turnpike is too unforgiving, 8 Toad's Turnpike is too easy and took away literally the one good thing the original had going for it, it's aesthetics. I can forgive them for it being their first try, but it's the worst traffic course in the entire series, and yes that includes Berlin.

I'm gonna be honest, trainless N64 Rainbow Road might be my least favourite track in the series. The music is class, but that's where my compliments end. It's honestly kinda ugly, I really don't like the faces floating in the sky and the road itself is headache inducing. How does the SNES Rainbow Road look better than that on the N64? Finally, the elephant in the room: it's way too fucking long. More than that, the ENTIRE track has handrails but for like 2 turns. I hate this track, I will never not hate this track, Sunshit Milds has nothing on the unutterable piles of unicorn shit presented as a "track".

I will say 21:24 is probably of the best analogies for a Mario Kart track I've seen (at least when taking your perspective into account, I'm just one of the people who makes fun of it on a disproportionate level).
