It has been brought to my attention that not only are there some tricks that I missed, there are some other mistakes that make tricks even more stupid than I originally thought. I will release an addendum to this video but do not have a ton of time to work on it in the meantime, so it may be a couple of months! Just know that tricks in this game are even stupider than I made them out to be in this video ;)

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe definitely improved many of the animations. You should give them a shot some time. There's a grand total of 302 tricks (with karts and bikes) A few conditions though: K. Boo, BJ, Inkling Boy and Girl and DB don't have unique bike tricks Female Miis have unique tricks The Mii suits added in v3.0.0 have unique Anti-Grav tricks, with the ? Block, Castle, Dry Bowser and Ice Cream suits having ones for bikes too Peach, Baby Daisy and Larry have one Inside-Drift trick Tanooki Mario's Anti-Grav trick is the same for both Karts and Bikes

Heavyweights actually have more than 7 tricks as well, the bike tricks are different depending on whether you’re using a standard bike (Standard/Flame Runner/Spear) or reclined bike (Wario Bike/Shooting Star/Phantom)

The animation is the same on the character level. The kart does a flip first on flip ramps
