Well as a black man myself, let me say this. I get that our ancestors were enslaved hundreds of years ago but that doesn't mean that we were. We didn't live through that time and experience it ourselves so honestly we have no reason to be as sensitive as we are. Race has to be brought into EVERYTHING with us and it's kinda annoying tbh.. rape, beatings, getting shot at or killed has happened to every race on the planet at some point but the media doesn't like to push that out because it doesn't fit the algorithm. Also fyi, black people can be racist too. I've seen countless videos of them attacking Asians on the streets because of covid, calling white people racial slurs and etc. It's just so hypocritical. I get that racism is still going on (with everyone not just black people) but I feel like we should all be thankful that we aren't being enslaved like our ancestors were because it almost sounds like we want that to happen again since we complain about everything lol.

Bro, I have been called every racial slur in the book. Getting offended and/or getting violent is not the way people of color should respond to racism. This is not the old west, it's 2020. Think of a time when you or someone you know was wrong about something. Would getting angry at them about it change their mind? People's opinions only change when they are shown why they're wrong and how they can do better. We have to take the high road and not be petty.

I wish i had a dash cam to capture how he harassed me on the road.. I actually slowed way down thinking him tailing me was all in my mind and when he blasted past me he abruptly braked and only sped up again when i was passed him.. The times he made it so he or i passed the other i could see that freak nut losing his sh*t.. He was flailing his arms and visibly screaming.. I almost called the cops..
