Well as a black man myself, let me say this. I get that our ancestors were enslaved hundreds of years ago but that doesn't mean that we were. We didn't live through that time and experience it ourselves so honestly we have no reason to be as sensitive as we are. Race has to be brought into EVERYTHING with us and it's kinda annoying tbh.. rape, beatings, getting shot at or killed has happened to every race on the planet at some point but the media doesn't like to push that out because it doesn't fit the algorithm. Also fyi, black people can be racist too. I've seen countless videos of them attacking Asians on the streets because of covid, calling white people racial slurs and etc. It's just so hypocritical. I get that racism is still going on (with everyone not just black people) but I feel like we should all be thankful that we aren't being enslaved like our ancestors were because it almost sounds like we want that to happen again since we complain about everything lol.

Some black people are over sensitive to a certain extent. There are some black people that act overly oppressed. I agree that we are a very oppressed race, but at the same time there are some black people that try to make it seem like everything goes wrong for them because they are black.

Some are just hypocrites. Like when I was in high school. These black dudes were pretty cool with me until one day in class we were discussing about what we ate for lunch. I had ate pizza that day and the black dude goes "what's wrong vato, you didn't feel like eating beans and tacos?" And I replied back asking him what he ate. He told me he just went down to Quiktrip for some chips so then I said "what's wrong bro, you didn't feel like chicken and watermelon?" And all of a sudden he got mad and everyone in the class freaks out saying that I went too far...

I told her I’m not black or white, and she told me I have a black dad, and a blonde white mom, I told her I’m from Dominican Republic, and my parents are both Latin, then told me I made that word up her “fiancé” threw his cup at me out his car window, my friend told me the next day she got beaten after that, We had a friendship that lasted 3 years til she started calling me Mexican girl, border crosser, other racist things about Mexican people, but the one time I mentioned her being black the whole school hated me? Emiliano Zapata I’m not using racism for everything or as an excuse. You tell that to our ancestors who died because of the color of their skin. There’s systemic racism and plenty of racial discrimination factors that play a part. YES all minorities are not innocent, they do lie, cheat and steal like any other human on this planet but to say that racism STILL doesn’t play a huge part in our society which effects minorities job wise, walking down the street, etc. is foolish. Emiliano Zapata it’s easy to tell us we have a victim mentality when u aren’t black and can’t experience our “victim hood”. First off a majority of black people ain’t got what most people call “generational wealth”, we pretty much in poverty and I ain’t speaking on all black ppl keep in mind, but a majority of us is in poverty. That poverty plays a role in us not getting the same chances as others not to even mention the racial stereotypes against us. Think b4 u speak the next time u gone say some dumb shit

Bro, I have been called every racial slur in the book. Getting offended and/or getting violent is not the way people of color should respond to racism. This is not the old west, it's 2020. Think of a time when you or someone you know was wrong about something. Would getting angry at them about it change their mind? People's opinions only change when they are shown why they're wrong and how they can do better. We have to take the high road and not be petty.

After seeing that there was people behind us the black women literally started to cuss at her and saying bunch of racist mexican slurs because my mom was mexican. I remember that this black driver was ticked off that i didnt let him merge (it isnt on the drivers of the other lane to let you in, thats a general rule, you find your own way) He was right next to me, he didnt speed up or brake at all yet expected me to, i guess.. being right next to him also meant that there was no way for me to see his blinker if he had one on.. I wish i had a dash cam to capture how he harassed me on the road.. I actually slowed way down thinking him tailing me was all in my mind and when he blasted past me he abruptly braked and only sped up again when i was passed him.. The times he made it so he or i passed the other i could see that freak nut losing his sh*t.. He was flailing his arms and visibly screaming.. I almost called the cops.. Ive met a few black ppl who acknowledged that maybe the black race is a bit sensitive.. The black race has endured a lot in the west but still practice some emotional regulation, gawd.. Him losing his mind over a situation he created could have killed us both..
