I love my own personal soulmasson I made which I've thoughtfully named, "Chef Boneardy"

Bonereapers may have been designed first, but my personal thought is that the smiles got added only after Nagash saw all the frowny faces on the SCE helmets.

Well it is said that morteks can use strategies and even fight well without leaders. They are not just golems, they are culture.
@auroralee2 жыл бұрын
Even if fractured, the soul of a Mortek is still a warrior. Unlike a regular reanimated corpse, which just stands there unless you tell it to do something. I like to think rather than memory, lower level Mortek have those combat instincts of tactics and formations more than any personality.

If you think about it, if Sigmar and Nagash had been somehow more compromising with one another, they might have created a far superior fighting force. Imagine Sigmar reforging the vessels of these heroes and Nagash sanctifying the spirits that would occupy them. Or something like that. Edit: Also, the Ossiarch Bonereapers aren’t just supposed to be a fighting force. They’re also a culture. Nagash wants them to create not just destroy, and it’s not just the Mortisans that are able to do that.

Sigmar does a fine job cooperating with other gods, it's pretty clear that the problem is Nagash.

Stormcast: You're just a cheap fucking knock off. Bonereaper: No no no, I'm the upgrade.

You should try making videos discussing the technology of the mortal realms. Some people mistakenly think that the mortal realms are stuck in the medieval age. But in truth, they are probably far more advance than we are. They seem to rely on magitech or some type of techno sorcery. I hope you can expand more on this. Maybe a discussion about how they compare with current day technology and technology such as that of the EOM in 40k or other settings would be interesting.

How did I not notice this video added 4 months ago. Love bonereapers! Thank you so much for making so much lore. You have an awesome voice to listen to while at work!
@adambielen89962 жыл бұрын
Sigmar didn't copy the Bonereapers because he specifically set out to make Order's version of Chaos Warriors. Also one way to slow the Bonereapers' snowball is to cremate the dead. Which is common practice in Aqshy and the Lumineth learned to do in their war with Nagash.

Can you do a video on how Total Warhammer factions like the Vampirates or Cathay to be integrated into AoS?

Well, the new GHB means that such a video would be better off waiting for a bit, as the entire game has been flipped on its head.

Thanks for the video, was really entertaining to listen to your explanation of the difference. Currently painting some ossiarch bonereapers as crematorians since exploding skeletons seems fun. Might build some sylvaneth later as well with a burning theme since I enjoy the lore behind winterleaf. Like the idea of burning/exploding skeletons vs burning trees with a grudge.

If that's the case then Stormcast Are just bootleg Grail Knights!. (Was the process of Making Grail Knights similar to how gods make Soulbound?).

But bro low level bone reaper are not just golem, they are a culture they are designed also to build. They are perfectly able to make complex decisions even without a leader. I mean Ossiarch were created to compensate the issue of the non autonomy of the skeleton, so it will be pretty dumb to give them the exact same issue

I wanted to like OBR but the models kill it for me. When I pictured bony Stormcast equivalent I wasn't expecting hordes of little smiling manlet skeletons. I like the big bone construct models, but I really hate the mortek guard.

Dont hate them but its rly strange cuz in a book i read it said that a mortek guard was 8 feet... that doesnt show on the model :(

I'm in the same boat. I like the OBR lore, but dislike most of the models, especially their knobby heads. The catapult is great, though.

i wonder if the ossiarch bonerepaers were one of the first models for aos which is why there scaled a bit small, like they had the models planned for a while. Nagash, arhkan and the morghast harbingers from end times look pretty similar to the ossiarch bonereapers.
