Are British Airways getting better?? - CLUB SUITE Product

British airways has had a lot of criticism over the last few years, especially for their business class product. I was lucky enough to try out BA's club suite from LHR to BOS and this is my experience!

Great video Lee, I have enjoyed all of your videos and find you to be very genuine and informative. Great content and thank you for all the insight into travelling with BA and the hints and tips about using Avios. The service offered in Club Europe these days is not a patch on what was offered in the past back in the good old day of BA Super Shuttle Service on domestic routes where everyone got a hot meal and bar service! Looking forward to seeing more videos in the future.

Flew club suite from LHR to Miami last year and experience on board same, however lounges last year were a disaster, glad to see they appear to have improved

My wife & I, 2 kids & 6 other family members are going from Glasgow to LAX in club world next month, it’ll be my first experience of the new suites & I’m really looking forward to it. We’re actually jumping on Ryanair from Glasgow to Dublin & starting our BA journey there because the pp ticket price was less than half that kicking off from Glasgow 🤷‍♂️ Enjoyed the video thanks.

Hi Lee - living in Manchester 21 years and holding an Irish Passport, it would perhaps make more sense for me if travelling on Transatlantic routes to fly Aer Lingus to Dublin to take advantage of US Customs and Immigration pre-clearance at Dublin and fly with Aer Lingus to Boston, JFK or LAX/SFO especially the latter - I would definitely take this westward option if travelling to Sydney or Auckland say for example on Qantas from LAX to Sydney for Sydney Pride or Auckland on Air New Zealand

The Club Suite is such a great improvement for BA business class, much better than current Lufthansa and also still better than Lufthansa's coming Allegris 🙂 Food also seems to have improved a lot since BA decided to hand over catering service to Do&Co.

It's barely keeping up with the Jones' at this point for BA. Best thing they have are lounges and an efficient fleet. Pax experience at full price is ghastly. Still, I'll pay 20 cents on the dollar to take that seat.

BA club suites are so great. The problem with BA(coming from jfk to...) is that the 1st leg is always the new club suites then from lhr to dxb or Budapest or Ist they give you the a320 neo(economy) shitty Ying yang seats if 2nd leg is over 5 hrs

Yeah this is a massive issue, the inconsistency. I guess it’s an issue many airlines have however because BA’s old business class seat is so poor it makes it so much worse!

Very pleased to have watched your video - I am travelling from Inverness to NZ with BA in business class via Singapore & Sydney where I change onto Qantas to Auckland. Going in 2.5 weeks & I am SOOOOOOOOOO EXCITED!!! I hope my experience will be as good as yours. To be honest, I’ve always been very happy to fly the flag with British Airways 😁😁

Yeah I have heard a lot about Inverness being low tax however the prices never seem to be any different than flying from say Aberdeen or Edinburgh. Strange. Hopefully you get a flight in club suite it really is a full step up from the older style business class!

We loved the new business class and would be thrilled to use this level of service always, unfortunately they still are using the OLD Business Class which is terrible, cramped and uncomfortable, that in our opinion is not worth it. This one is totally worth every penny. We are hoping that they convert all the old planes soon before our next flight.

I totally agree with you! If you get the new BC it’s amazing, old is terrible. I have heard of people booking the new and getting the old, poor situation. 🤞it’s not too long until the phase the old BC out completely!

Good vid and nice camera setup etc, just a shame you're promoting RFF. It's public knowledge in frequent flyer forums that they scrape the data off seatspy. The latter is much better and updated unlike the secondary data from RFF.

For as long as they underprovision catering as a matter of policy, refuse to spend on IT maintenance and under staff customer services, so that customers are left stranded with zero support after non notice cancellations.... BA aka SpangloQatari airways (they're not actually British but the UK brand of a Madrid registered multinational) are Best Avoided. They simply don't care about customers, emplyee or the product. Some flights, where nothing goes wrong can be fine but if there are any issues, BA are as bad as a locost, which isnt helpful in a long haul destination.

I am honestly unsure on the numbers, I know a larger chunk of Heathrow 777’s have been fitted so far but I think the number of 787’s is very low.
