Enjoying the content Zac! I think we mustn't forget that this is Maresca's first season, he will be learning from all these games and experiences. He needs time but I think what we have seen so far, it's promising and heading in the right direction.

I think Chelsea’s start to the league is promising. Can see a clear blueprint to what Maresca wants from us. Growing pains are happening rn but I think it will be for the better 💙

Which is? You’ve only been good when countering. That’s not on the coaching(offensively) that’s simply on players being good and playing in chemistry and with freedom. That’s all thanks to Poch. Naresca has totally ran from what made him promising at Leicester and has gone to what 90% of managers could do but with way less reputation and control over the dressing room than a number would garner. Can’t help but think this is so similar to ETH outside of Chelsea haven’t spaffed on Maresca men as Yanited did on Ten Hags men(Mind you dewsbury-Hall is eerily similar to Van de Beek signing)

We’re definitely getting there. Plus with us being a young squad which will only get better plus the fact our weakest position (GK) is generally an easier one to recruit for is very exciting. One big concern is every big club are guna be coming in for Palmer, I know he has a massive contract but with this ownership you never know

I think Enzo is playing the big games with the mindset of ‘just don’t lose’. I can see how that is possibly a bad mindset but I also think this isn’t as much of ‘his’ teams as he is making out. I think he likes the players but it’s not what he wants. I expect us to hr exciting against the ‘lesser’ teams and then a lot more ‘tame’ against the better teams. Our club NEED champions league not only for our fans but financially too.

A team like Chelsea with the funds invested need to be good. Everyone knows the players are good it’s just the individualism and the time to gel took forever and it was constantly disrupted with players switching in and out. I think now they’re more used to having different squads so now it’s in their benefit imo that they can just swap players in and out. They’re gonan go far in all competitions now that’s it’s allllll clicking but for the money spent god damn it took this longgggg ffs
