(which I'm sure you'll blame entirely on him) Jeanty is a luxury pick, Bears aren't at that point yet. Pete Carrol is old as dirt, ell past his prime, and doesn't make great decisions. He passed on the 1 with beastmode in the backfield and his last OC was Waldron.

Saints- Gruden(OC Mike McCarthy) Jets- Rex Ryan Raiders- Deion Sanders Patriots- Vrabel Cowboys- Kliff Kingsbury.... Pete Carroll is a perfect fit for Da Bears but Jax- Pete Carroll (Why else keep Balke?) Bears- 🤷 Ben Johnson? Flores seems to have the inside track for some reason 😔. Rather Go Ben Johnson and DC Mayo. You get great coaching on both sides that way. Again...Should go Pete Carroll. They won't 😅.

Ben Johnson is not qualified. Need an experienced HC in Chicago. Making the same mistake of hiring an unproven HC three time in a row could be devastating to this team. It could work with BJ, but why would anyone think that the Bears would take that chance again? Not buying it...

Because their last OC was a shitshow and they picked the worst one out of names like Liam Coen and Kliff Kingsbury. My guess is they prefer an offensive guy based on Poles criteria

You mentioned Jimmy Johnson. I agree on the not all coordinators are coaches because Norv Turner is my go-to reference point for that fact. Turner is a HOF offensive coordinator who was a master at using the tools at his disposal....as an OC. As captain of the ship at multiple stops....not so much.

He is a rookie who was asked to do more than any other rookie and he looked like a rookie many times. But he also looked great in enough games to see what he is capable of and having so much thrown at him early will bode well for his future. And what is undeniable is that in crunch time, he time after time, made plays to get the Bears in position to win (at least 3 of those should have been wins that we given away by others on the team making them an 8 win team). He has a clutch factor that cannot be taught.

When the Bears were on Monday night football a couple weeks ago Troy Aikman was talking about how he went first overall and how his rookie season went down. Ready for those stats? Aikman finished 1989 with a 0-11 record as a starter, completing 155 of 293 passes for 1,749 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 18 interceptions. Imagine if Dallas had given up on him? A career is not defined by a rookie season but how one responds to the adversity faced during that season.
