I'm so glad you got to the post office in time to get your chicks! It's amazing that they got to the post office ahead of you. It must be the overnight drivers that delivered them quickly to your post office. I'm glad you could set up your cute brooder. The chicks look very healthy. Wow, still getting stuff back from your neighbors from the move. The plastic comtainer nest box is fine Jason. I'm glad that most of the hens seem to be using it. Things will get more normal as you get set up. No rush! Chickens can handle change pretty well. They adapt pretty quickly. You guys look happy too. You're doing a great job!

My answer: NO!!! And here is why. So I ordered about 70 from mcmurray. They didn’t arrive so we called and tried to find them. They shipped. The chicken never arrived. So after a week I called again and cancelled. Said fine, and I ordered from a Different hatchery closer to home. But the Following morning post office called me found the chickens About 400 miles from my place in a different state. they had been brought home by a postal employee who fed and watered them over the weekend. So I called the second hatchery to cancel. But they had already shipped the replacement 70 chickens. Then I called mcmurray to tell them where the chickens were. But mcmurray had shipped a replacement set. 70 more. Free of charge as a replacement. So in the end I got the first shipment, 50 dead. 20 alive. Then the next day I got the order from the second hatchery, 70 more. And finally the following day I got the replacement complementary chickens from mcmurray. Another 70. And in the end I had, total, about 160 chickens instead on the 70 I ordered. And 50 were dead from shipping.
