@tophan51464 жыл бұрын
m but to him to like her, they must’ve been compatible on some level. He must’ve been having a good time, good conversations, mutual understanding etc. It’s difficult for escort to fake since a billionaire is used to everyone trying to suck up to him and rip him off. Of course we don’t know, and it’s possible she just married him only for his money, but I wouldn’t be so quick to exclaim that this is for sure what happened. It’s quite possible that the attraction was mutual.
@tophan51464 жыл бұрын
@m, Sure she may have faked it and played a game just to get to his money, similarly how some men only pretend love to have sex. But I wouldn’t be so sure as to proclaim that “if he wasn’t rich she wouldn’t even go on a date with him”. Being a yacht owning billionaire is on a different level than rich kid who inherited it or won a lottery. The guy is immensely powerful, manages probably thousands of people, must have been very smart and had very strong character to accomplish it etc. Being the person who risen to the top of the game is attractive in itself.

Since you mentioned fishing with plastic explosives here is a little Louisiana, USA fishing story. Boudreaux, a Cajun living in south Louisiana took an old friend fishing in the swamp. The friend now worked for Wildlife and Fisheries Commission as a game warden. After a while of not catching anything, Boudreaux reached in his tackle box, pulled out a stick of dynamite, lite the fuse and threw it in the water. After the explosion, as he was gathering the fish his friend went off on him about the abuse of their friendship. How he was going to be hated by everyone for arresting his best friend while they were fishing. After a while of listening to his fiend’s rant Boudreaux reached into the tackle box, got another stick of dynamite, lite the fuse and handed it to his friend, and ask, “well now, issa you gonna talk or issa you gonna fish?”

Like many others I seemed to have randomly found your channel but am enjoying it. As for the nuclear yacht question while the terrorist angle is a valid one considering the quality of fuel such a small reactor would have to use I would think the money alone even for the type of person who can won a Super Yacht would be more limiting: Materials of construction. You need shielding which is heavy so normal yacht hulls probably won’t do. Special licensed and trained crew. The reactor itself would have to be licensed and inspected regularly Normal shipyards couldn’t work on it Most ports wouldn’t let you enter. If you can afford an Super Yacht you can afford a lot but I think the cost to build and operate it would tax even them. From one of you other videos there are several systems I can think of that would be classified as anti-missile systems but may not be classified as “weapons”, chaf, flares, laser and radar jamming, as well as materials of construction of the hull. So I guess a Yacht could have what someone refers to as an anti-missile system onboard and not technically be armed depending on a whole lot of very confusing international laws.

A friend of mine who has captained various yachts says that drugs are not as prevalent as you may think. Remember all those random boardings and inspections? Well if law enforcement finds drugs, they will seize and impound the yacht. That’s an expensive price to pay for some drugs. At least that’s how it is in the US. In places like Indonesia, you get the death penalty. Don’t know how it is in international waters...
@rykehuss34354 жыл бұрын
Edwin Park Boats dont generally get inspected in international waters, its only when you enter national waters. And yeah drugs on your boat is a very bad idea, if you get caught you could be tried for smuggling. And you'll most likely lose your boat since its considered the tool for the crime. Whats more likely is that drugs are used on-board while at port. And then everything is cleaned when its time to leave. Then get new drugs at the next port. Carrying them with you would be dumb as fuck

He said he always had at least one hot chick walking around his boat topless or buck naked. I have seen some similar 'agreements' penned by some "A" listers in the Entertainment industry and their 'companions'. The one thing that struck me evidencing the general depravity present in the industry was an often detailed addendum in which the parties agreed , in quite explicit language, what the 'companion' was expected to do and what they explicitly agreed the companion would NOT do, or acts in which she/he would NOT participate... I am guessing similar addenda exist in the contracts you describe. Did you ever see one of these documents? For those who are not yet aware, "Addendum" are often to conceal sensitive 'terms' in lots of agreements, as a mechanism for hiding those terms from public, and depending on jurisdiction, the initial levels of public authority investigation, scrutiny.
@destk96582 жыл бұрын
I'm not a lawyer... But first time I hear about the status of this "addendum" in a contract. I thought it is always part & parcel of a contract, when read in entirety. You cannot hide/conceal the addenda part. It is binded together and carries the same full strength of the other parts of the contract.
@seeratlasdtyria45842 жыл бұрын
@@destk9658 One thing I have learned: "Never, say Never:) I AM a lawyer, and depending on the jurisdiction and circumstances, I have seen the 'confidential' nature of some of these Addenda judicially maintained. Good answer on guns on US flagged vessels. When port hopping around the US Caribbean ports (Florida to Texas), or slightly up the Atlantic coast, you can carry just about any firearm. Machine guns are legal in the US in most states (and all of those), so long as you have a federal “tax stamp” for it and acquired it from a person with a similar tax stamp (which are $200). Costs for machine guns are $10k - $100k depending on model, but if you can afford a super yacht you can afford a machine gun. Cannons, rifles, shotguns, etc all have significantly fewer restrictions and can generally be purchased and carried out immediately, though cannons are obviously hard to find. States in the Northeast (generally anything north of DC) restricts possession of guns heavily, including in port, so as a general rule you don’t want to carry anything when going there. Non-machine guns can generally be taken so long as they remain in an arms locker, but machine guns are generally prohibited. Moving to the Pacific coast, California falls into this rule, while Oregon and Washington are mixed. Alaska is generally unrestrictive. There are no general exceptions for Americans or US flagged vessels to carry guns to any foreign ports, though almost every nation has an exception process. Mexico, for example, allows guns to be imported for hunting events which must be arranged through both the hunting lodge and federal police. It’s not hard to do if you have the money to pay lawyers to make it all happen, but not something that can be done on the spot. If you bring weapons into a port without the right arrangements made in advance you can expect to be detained, so if you’ve accidentally done it, turn around and leave immediately to reduce risk of being boarded.

They're called extremely "expensive girlfriends" that will hang around as long as the money, clothes, gifts, etc... keep coming their way. Cut them off of these "gifts" and they'll move on to the next "buyer." And they're a little like a Pro Football Player - they have a pretty short career because there's always a younger, less beat up replacement ready to take their job.
@tidefanyankee24285 жыл бұрын
True, but compare that with the costs of having a wife. They expect money, clothes and gifts as well. Now throw in healthcare costs....and alimony if she's turning you down and you want some sex. You can lose one of your houses (in the case of these ultra rich guys) and so much more to include your kids. Hell, renting it is FAR cheaper than buying it when you factor in all the costs. AND, if you rent it, you know you're going to get what you want.....every time with the pro's.....

I was involved with a young lady who was a courtesan with a clientele of one. The two of them had a mutually drafted contract that covered the important points. They were together for around seven years and parted on good terms. At that same point in my life I came to know a wide variety of different kinds of sex workers. It was fascinating.

I'm have several questions, but 1) how is material furniture lashed down or kept in place while in heavy seas. 2) how do yacht crews deal with a yacht owner that suddenly dies or a crew member that die while underway? 3)once while in the US Navy we had a Spec Ops team deal with some coastal pirates in the 80's after the pirates boarded a private sailing yacht we previously rendered aid to by killing the entire family. The action taken was decisive and proof found onboard the pirate vessel was found. Have you've been on a yacht boarded by pirates?

I saw a hefty Russian billionaire at an aquapark in Cyprus who was attended by two inconceivably beautiful and voluptuous young Russian women. I was reliably informed they were his 'paid companions', although it barely needed to be said, him being around 60 and less than handsome, and them being around 25 and absolutely stunning. His yacht was moored off the coast nearby, and was obviously not the result of an economy drive on his part. Frankly, I can think of worse situations to be in than his, although he didn't radiate the kind of fulfilled contentment one may have expected. Perhaps he was exhausted.

I live in Miami and i DONT know a boat that isn't armed. Florida has very liberal gun law. On your boat you can actually open carry on the boat as well as the dock. Every body is armed and funny enough the crime on sailing vessels is very rare. When sailing to the Caribbean you are not allowed to disembark with a weapon. Some countries will require you to turn over your guns for the duration of your visit then get them back when you leave. You can also hire private security in some of the islands.
@Andy-xb5qg5 жыл бұрын
You cannot open carry in Florida. It’s against the law. If you are in a private marina I don’t believe the owners / operators would allow you to open carry at the dock, as people around would feel uncomfortable. In a public marina it’s obviously illegal.
@Andy-xb5qg5 жыл бұрын
@UCZWoqymz8Gxb0Ch5IPzztVg That's wrong! Open carry is prohibited in three States (Florida, Illinois and California) and in the District of Columbia. In New York, open carry of unloaded lung guns is allowed, except in New York City.

Thank you for answering my previous question. I was wondering , when you are employed on a yacht, is it like being employed by a company that is owned by the owner? Is there Health care Benefits, pension plans , etc. What do you plan to do after you retire? Cheers and Merry Christmas.
@keithgreen705 жыл бұрын
It's easier for the owner to use a yacht crew service. That way crew members can rotate on and off for time off. The crew service typically handles insurance and taxes for each crew member and then charges the owner for the labor and insurance.
@thelemon4125 жыл бұрын
Hey, just a little correction about guns on superyachts. I used to have a 30m yacht (2005 - 2008) and did at times have shotguns on board. I'm unsure if the laws have changed but back then so long as the owner was licenced and the secure storage was known/approved by the country that the yacht was registered in then it, back then, was allowed (and might still be allowed). The gun safe was put in during build and was virtually unfindable, the vast majority of the crew did not have a clue where it was despite it being hidden in plain sight in my cabin. The reason for the guns was to shoot clay pigeons (there was a manual trap that a crew member could operate). I always shot while we were underway and away from shore. The guns would always leave the yacht with me when I departed back to the UK.
@williamdrijver41415 жыл бұрын
Smart solution. Against armed robbers you always have the right to defend yourself. On every yacht there must be possible ways to hide such safety stuff I think
@nycbit73865 жыл бұрын
there must be plenty of illegal guns on boats, i cant imagine any reasonably wealthy person just subjecting themselves to whoever while on a floating kidnapping advert
@thelemon4125 жыл бұрын
@@nycbit7386 these guns were not for defence, they were for sport. Although I have to say I don't think guns on boats (for sport or security) is common at all, certainly not in Europe. The boat never left Europe when I owned it but if I were to have had her sail through a risky area I'd definitely hire a professional security team for that period (if the captain/insurance recommended/asked for it). The way I see it is that if you think you're a target then you should have a close protection team anyway to manage that risk for you.
