Are ebay lights worth it?

Here is me giving my take on if you should buy ebay lights. honestly, for how cheap they are I would recommend it, but don't be surprised if they aren't the best at night on the highway. I ended up putting HID bulbs in my ebay lights and they work great now!

I had to silicone around the housing and lense on some Ebay headlights before to keep condensation out. Worked well.

For all those who bought this 3rd brake light, a little info. I had an adapter with me that swapped the two inner cables. After that everything works as it should, the cargo lamps only light up when they are switched on from the inside. If you don't have the adapter, simply unpin the cable and plug it back in the other way around

My 3rd brake light was doing the same. It was the capacitors in the led's still holding voltage. 10k resistor should do the trick.

Got the Recon brand tails and 3rd brake light for my 05, and my cargo lights come on automatically aswell, they shut off after awhile though, noticed your from SK, i am also, nice truck man!

Nice video and I bought the same 3rd brake light and had the same problem then I went through the same process with the csr got a refund and bought the all led light which did the same thing and it was a different brand so I think u need to add a resistor to get it to work right I noticed thay the spec-B lights comes with a resistor built in like your tail lights did... Also where did u get your grill from?

Great video. I seen another video with someone buying the same third brake light and he had the same situation as you with it turning on when the truck is off. What kind of front camera are you running?

Spyder headlights are actually a pretty good brand and sold a lot more other places than eBay. My one complaint is the projectors are simply not bright enough for my liking

What's up buddy that's a nice truck and this is a good video but I was wondering because I just bought those exact same headlights for my 2005 Dodge Ram where do the red and black wires go I'm not really good with this type of thing or I just never done it before do you have a tip for me or do you know what I should do

Hey buddy the black wires need to go to a ground, either the negative battery post or you can ground them out somewhere on the truck. The red wires need to go to ignition power, so when you turn the key on the LEDs in the headlight turn on.

So I just bought those headlights and my turn signal light doesn’t fit in the hole. Like it was made wrong or even clocked wrong on the new headlights

Those headlights look so dim. Many people complained about the low beam projector not putting out enough headlight lumens. But the daytime running lights are awesome. To bad the regular headlights are so dim. I love the headlights, they look great cosmetically. But worried about the low beam for regular driving. Thus why I haven't bought them.

I put some HIDs in and they are pretty good now. Low beams and fogs are just fine. Then when I put the high beams on its soooo bright because the lows stay on with the highs

Looks good, I'm gonna get those tail lights but I have a question on the headlights. Did yours come with a L shaped connectors for each side with the short end has two pins in the connector and the longer end looks to have nothing in it? I've seen those in pics, do you know what they are for and did you use them?

This is not possible with a different wiring, it must be coded in the control unit

I have a question about your daytime running lights, ie: high beams, not being on and using the led for that purpose. How did you disable the factory daytime running light function?

I had a shop use some kind of programming to shut my daytimes off. Pretty sure it was dealer software or something similar.

I actually just got some LED bulbs from fcklightbars that are supposed to work with the Spyder headlight housing, haven’t installed them yet but the HIDs I have now are garbage.

Were you able to adjust high beam up down ? I bought a set of spyder's a while back for an F-150 and you could only adjust the low beams.

Yeah I can adjust the low and high up down left and right with these ones, although it’s in a super dumb location. I can’t get to the adjusting screws while the lights are mounted in the truck so I had to remove the headlight, adjust it a bit, install it, and check it. I probably installed/uninstalled each headlight 10 times haha

Piece of garbage headlights, the only led 6000k light is the day bar running lights then low and high beams are halogen 5000k 55w so they not good for big city... If you like led don't buy those spyder headlights. I try get h1 light 6000k 80w and 100w a resistor from ebay,Amazon,napa and others and nothing don't waste your money on that if you looking for led lights.
