other ways in which E-sports are "Sport", though not fun to think about, you can have carreer ending injuries, such as carpal tunnel, and also by your mid 20s you can be considered past your prime.... and you don't get that in Chess!

The biggest misconception is that Sport equals physical activity when in fact Sports originated from ancient greek/rome serving as a foundation to settle differences or compete against one another, NOT to keep your body in shape

I've already watched this video multiple times and have also personally discussed this issue while talking about sports journalism. As we journalists have quite a difficult time which to consider, we have opted out to use the term "athletes" to pro players when they're representing a country or region in a competition that is not organized by the game publisher. (Olympics, SEA Games, Asian Games, IESF). (Delegates is an encompassing term for all) Going back to talking about sports journalism, I asked my listeners if esports players can be called athletes. Then I presented the video of Shaquille O'Neal talking about esports and athletes. ( kzbin.infoDbdffTZWgT0?feature=share )

I’m not entirely sure. I know historically women have not been able to compete at the same level as men at esports so maybe that’s why they’re separated. That’s why I like G2 esports as they’re showing off the awesome talent of women in the esports scene!

Yeh I also believe you shouldn't compare sports to eSports in term of "Physical" activity, but I think what is the point about sport and eSports being sound the same is base on the strategy, mind games/mentality, coordination, planning, preparation, training etc.. I think that's the point of sports and eSports being sound identical and both are entertaining in people perspective if they understand what's going on in the certain sports/eSports
