Well done Brad for talking about stuff whilst still dealing with it - there a lot of people who talk but only after they have found the answers and they are credited as being brave, but the most brave are those that speak whilst in the middle of it I think. Well done Brad.

This man has so much strength, wow incredible. Wears his pain with such courage. I wish him every goodness coming to him. I wish him healing and peace to live his life feeling whole as he still is somewhere deep down. And has been all along.

Hearing Bradley speak about this has just lifted a bit of weight off my shoulders... Everyone else tells me it's all just in my head yet it's not it's all very real, the flashbacks and relapses and dragging the trauma back up can re traumatise me. It's horrible to live with, thoughts of hurting others and the anxiety... Distrust for professionals that don't seem to care or have the abilities to help, cycling also helped me and I was becoming quite something yet my attack left me unable to take it further which was a shame as it helped me so much... My attackers were police officers, for trying to complain they falsely arrest me, take me somewhere private and knock me about which happened again this week. Vile system we have. Bradley is my cycling hero and a true inspiration, look after yourself brother 🙏 and thankyou for sharing

Bradley, you are an inspiring individual you’ve achieved so much, however, been very true to who you are, which is pretty courageous. A top cyclist, and a top bloke and your openness and sharing deeply personal issues, so openly is really helping others.

Thank you so much for sharing Bradley. Your experience is so similar to Jonny Wilkinson and the reactions of both of you and willingness to be open and share is fabulous.

I think we really have a position where we have "happy champions" and "broken champions" in terms of why individuals are successful and what made them great. People end up at the same place in terms of objective success but they get there from utterly opposite ends.

It seems like this video wasn't fully uploaded as it ends very suddenly. Very interesting up to that point though! Best wishes to Bradley.

This courageous fellow has a story very much like my own, and we are not alone. Too many parents are having children they cannot provide the necessary protection and care necessary for the formation of healthy attachments later in life. Thus we are essentially unwanted children and too many of us wind up alcoholics and addicts. What saved me is the healthy protection and care a few 12-step groups (not all) have provided free of charge, the reparenting I have always needed. We are not alone and thanks for your sharing! Best wishes! Stress R Us

Wiggo got me into cycling and got me much fitter after the bike boom of 2012, so I’ll always be thankful to him for that. I’m still fit and healthy now and it extended my life. I fell out of cycling itself (getting into is one thing, maintaining a road bike is another haha 😢😂), but kept fit since doing other things.

An abused child ALWAYS blames him/herself for the experience. Some authors suggest that 2/5 women and 1/5 men in the Us are sexually abused in childhood. Group therapy and EMDR are the most powerful therapies, as both transmit the protection and care necessary to allow the healing to evolve. Shame is the inevitable consequence of childhood trauma, as is self-hatred. Gabor Mate' writes beautifully about this process and has many great KZbin videos, as well as the must read book, "The Myth of Normal". Blessings to all who suffer these transgressions. Stress R Us

I think he’s paid his dues mate. Enough of that. They were all doing it and the drug doesn’t turn you into superman or anything. Man’s lost it all. Don’t think they need to keep going over it.
